Waters Edge Event Center in Eagle, Idaho is one of my favorite intimate wedding venues to photograph. It is located close to the Boise River and is perfect for couples planning a smaller guest count who still want a beautiful experience.
The reception room is bright and modern and the large doors open directly into the ceremony space which makes the whole day feel seamless.
As a Boise wedding photographer I highly recommend Waters Edge. The best wedding photos are taken just a few minutes away along the Boise Greenbelt where the natural light and river views create a stunning backdrop for portraits.
If you are looking for an intimate Eagle Idaho wedding venue, Waters Edge is a wonderful choice.

Our wedding at Waters Edge Event Center was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The service was outstanding, the bartenders were friendly and professional, and the food was incredible—our guests are still raving about it. Jami was truly wonderful and made sure every detail was taken care of so we could relax and enjoy our day. We loved every single minute of our wedding and couldn’t imagine a better place to celebrate. If you’re looking for an all-in-one venue that delivers on every level, we highly recommend Waters Edge!

I was a guest at the wedding of my nephew and his sweetheart on July 12/25, but I helped a little with setting a few final details the day of the event. The place is very nice, clean and well set up. There is plenty of parking space, and there is a patio right out in the back of the building that has access to the water. This area has plenty of vegetation so, even though it was a hot day, it was still very pleasant outside. The set up tables looked very nice also. But what absolutely made the place for me was the staff. There was a lady that gave us unrestricted access to put in the touches that the bride wanted. She was also very approachable and very helpful. As I understand, the number of guests increased quite a bit from the original estimates, but they were wonderful about making accommodations. My family and I had a great experience. My granddaughter particularly, since she got to explore the area with us before the wedding party arrived. Highly recommend this place.

We had the pleasure of working at this beautiful venue as both the florist and Day-Of Coordinator, and WOW, what an incredible experience from start to finish! The space has a bright, refreshing feel to it. The entire staff was amazing. Katie, the event manager, was great to work with; organized, communicative, and available. The bartenders absolutely killed it, keeping the drinks flowing and the guests happy all night long. Chef made some amazing food, and the service staff was just the sweetest, attentive, professional, and genuinely helpful. Thank you to Christine for greeting us and getting us settled after our early morning drive. It’s always a joy to collaborate with a team that truly cares about making each event special. Can’t wait to be back!

Waters Edge did not disappoint. This event Center was very accommodating, the food was quite good, the staff professional and attentive. The facility has just been renovated and quite lovely.

Wow! Water’s Edge is truly such a gift to Treasure Valley. As a wedding and event floral designer I work with a lot of venues and taste a lot of “buffet” food. The chef prepared food at Water’s Edge is sooo good! The tri-tip was literally melt in your mouth and the citrus glazed salmon was delicious. All the staff is super helpful and the venue is always clean. Can’t wait to see it after all the remodeling this January. Even better!

The Waters Edge is an incredible venue that keeps getting better with every visit! I’ve had the privilege of shooting here a handful of times, and I’m continually impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. They truly go above and beyond to make the experience seamless—not just for the couples and their guests, but for vendors like me as well.
The new owners have been a breath of fresh air. They’re extremely kind and outgoing, and their vision for the venue is inspiring. They even took the time to give me a personal tour of the exciting new construction they’re working on, showing how they’re elevating the already beautiful Waters Edge to a whole new level. I can’t wait to see the updates completed early next year!
Between the stunning waterfront views, the elegant grand ballroom with its gorgeous chandeliers, and the attention to detail in every aspect, The Waters Edge is a dream venue for any wedding or event. I’m so excited to work with the new owners and see this space continue to grow and shine!
