Frontier Cinema is a small‑town theater that offers a great movie experience at a low price. The owner is very friendly and always talks with moviegoers before the movie starts, using a microphone to introduce the film and asking if the heat or cool is nice for all. There is only one showing at 7:00 pm, but the tickets are priced amazingly, with a first run costing $22 and Tuesdays offering a half‑price night at $2.50. Senior pricing starts at 60 yrs and Wednesday nights feature captions for the hard of hearing. The movies come a little later than other theaters, about five weeks after normal release, but the low cost makes the wait worthwhile. The theater has a single screen with comfy seats and preserves its history while upgrading what it has. Bathrooms are upstairs and older but adequate, though there is no handicap ramp. Snacks are very cheap: water is $1, popcorn small is $1 or $2, and candy and soda are available. Concessions are cash only, and a bottle of water costs just $1.
