The Prairie Inn is a true mom and pop business, owned for 22 years by the same couple. The owners are the best, very sweet, super nice, and helpful, treating guests like family and making them feel at home. It is an awesome place to stay, very clean and comfortable, with comfy beds where guests sleep great. The rates are great and very fair. A special bonus is the lobby area where breakfast is served, featuring great breakfasts like a big muffin, lots of coffee options, and amazing baked oatmeal. The location is a go-to spot for Soldier Mountain adventures and hunting, and one of the few places to stay for miles. Guests also mention a friendly three-legged cat. It is a place where visitors feel peace and kindness, and many plan to return.
VERY CLEAN, AWESOME OWNERS! This is a true Mom and Pop business, owned for 22 years by the same couple. We slept great, felt peace, and were very thankful we stayed at the Prairie Inn! You will not beat this place in this area, especially with price in mind. Very fair and good!

I loved my one-night stay at the Prarie Inn. Mona and Dan were great hosts. A speical bonus was lobby area of the office where breakfast is served. It was a great place to stay overnight on my way from Oregon to Wyoming.

These owners are the best! You'll never find a more engaged motel owner that treats you like family. Great breakfasts in the morning, comfy beds, and great rates. Our go to spot for Soldier Mountain adventures in the winter! Staying awhile? Ask them to make their baked oatmeal! It's amazing.
