The Prairie Inn is a true mom and pop business, owned for 22 years by the same couple. The owners are the best, very sweet, super nice, and helpful, treating guests like family and making them feel at home. It is an awesome place to stay, very clean and comfortable, with comfy beds where guests sleep great. The rates are great and very fair. A special bonus is the lobby area where breakfast is served, featuring great breakfasts like a big muffin, lots of coffee options, and amazing baked oatmeal. The location is a go-to spot for Soldier Mountain adventures and hunting, and one of the few places to stay for miles. Guests also mention a friendly three-legged cat. It is a place where visitors feel peace and kindness, and many plan to return.
Stayed here during a hunting trip. The owners were very nice. Room was exactly as pictured. Clean, the mattresses seemed new and we're comfortable, memory foam pillows, and quilts on the beds.
