Stayed in the RV park for the weekend. Veiw was beautiful, park was clean, and the staff was ready and willing to help us out with any thing we needed. WIFI was great and the pool was a blast. Kids enjoyed the slide, diving boards, and floating log. We will definitely be back.Noteworthy details: Beautiful views by the docks.

The employees were nice and friendly. We had hoped for natural hot springs, but these were large indoor, spring fed pools, which was nice. However, the water had been cooled to about room temperature. It was not what we expected, but was ok.

I'd love to give this place a higher rating because the staff was so helpful, but our camping experience was not a pleasant one.1. A zillion flies. I mean you could not even sit out side for one minute with out being surrounded. Forget having food or cooking outside, we were swarmed. There were no mechanisms in the port-a-potty to kill them so it was filled with flies.2. Overpowering smell of nearby manure. It would wake us up in the middle of the night and early morning. It actually burned nostrils.3. The bathrooms for the campground are horrendous. The showers, as they call them, are a pipe out of the wall (no shower head with spray), with a very weak trickle of water. It was impossible to truly get clean, let alone enjoy it.Paying over $40 / night to camp there was a rip. Nice view otherwise. Just a shame they don't take better care to provide a comfortable place for paying customers.

DO NOT CAMP AT THOUSAND SPRINGS AS THEY ARE FLEA INFESTED.The owners are not investing in the camp grounds to make them better. We we're bitten and brought home fleas without realizing it. We found out they don't clean the spider webs or spiders and were told if they employees wanted to put their own money into cleaning up the camp grounds they wouldn't be reimbursed.I'm so upset, we were there for almost a week in some great spots but will NEVER go back again. Shame on the current owners, as they should reimburse us for our cleaning the fleas out of our camping gear and our homes. You ARE NOT GOOD PEOPLE. I'm sure your father is rolling in his grave ashamed of children and what they are NOT doing for the dream he had. I'm so disgusted. The pictures are not what the camp grounds look like now. Huge spiders webs everywhere with spiders and tons of flies. We've camped all over the Northwest and never stayed in a campground where the owners never invested. You can tell the owners are only interested in selling the campground to make a profit but who would want to buy a run down campground.

Campsites were OK, but pretty close together unless you get a group site. Don't go in harvest season - THE FLIES ARE HORRIBLE!!! We're talking literally hundreds (thousands? ) just in our campsite and they're immune to Off bug spray. You need dairy farm strength fly spray, which is something the campground should be aware of and doing something about, but since I had to trim the tree overhanging our campsites boat dock, I'm guessing that's an issue they will continue to ignore. Didn't go swimming in the pool because you have to pay extra per person, and you get a discount if 2$ per person if you have a campsite, but it's still 8 bucks per person which really isn't worth it when you have the river right beside you. Bathroom was... well it was there. It was more old rather than dirty, but there's a well used shower curtain in front of the toilet in the men's room, and a shower with no head in the steal next to it, plus the urinal and sink, but no fan or ac so it's a sweat box. I opted to use the Porta Jhon in the parking lot as it had better ventilation and my wife had similar sentiments about the ladies room. The campsites do have charcoal grills and nice fire rings, but for the price they charge I expected better facilities. Also, if like us you plan to camp on a site with a dock, there is no driving up to the site to unload - its a walk from the parking lot through other campsites down the steps and to your site - not well thought out or placed. We unloaded the boats at the main dock and paddled over to the campsite dock and then hiked back and forth for our gear. So although the campground is a bit underwhelming - the thing that makes this someplace we'll return to is Ritter Island, right across from the campgrounds. You can boat all the way around the island (about 2 miles total) and the current changes halfway through and it's beautiful over there with waterfalls and areas you can stop and play in the water which is nearly as cold as Blue Heart Springs, which for the more a adventurous boaters is a 3.5 mile paddle upstream from 1000 springs resort. My family did the 7 mile trip with two 20 minute stops (once at blue heart and once on the bank where we found a spot ) in 3.5 hours. Both fun trips that make it worth the stay, but if I was not boating or couldn't get a site with a dock I wouldn't stay there. Photos are from the back side of Ritter Island.

Best family reunion ever!!! We have a large family and it is hard to find places to accomodate all of us, especially when you need to plan activities for all stages of life. The owners are gracious and easy to work with. They made planning our reunion easy! The property is set up perfectly for reunions! The campgrounds and rv spots are a nice size and are right on the river or right next to it. The docks work out perfectly for sending out kayaks and fishing. The pavilion is a good size for gathering the family for meals and, as an added bonus, it has power. None of us stayed in the cabins, so I can't speak for those. We did, however, enjoy the hot pool. The temperature in it was just right. There is a great spot for little kids to hang out in and many other activities and a deep part throughout the pool for older kids and adults to enjoy. The bathroom/shower building was also a great thing to have for the reunion! It made camping so much easier for everyone. If you are looking for a great family reunion spot, or somewhere to go with your own family, this is the spot for you!Nearby activities: Kayaking, rafting, hiking, swimming

Staff is nice and friendly. They gave us information on where to launch to get to Blue Heart. Pool is large. There is a kiddie section. It is hot and muggy in the pool area. There are snacks and drinks available to buy. Rv park looks nice. Location is right on the river.

Beautiful location right on the river. Swimming pool/hot springs were great and fun for all ages (water basketball hoop, diving boards, rolling log, water slide, shallow section). The only negative was that the bathroom/bathouse was disgusting, so much so I refused to use it and cleaned up in a gas station the next morning. It was not just me, as I saw a couple other people walk to the bathouse and then turn around and leave. The one star ratings are because of the lack of cleanliness. Otherwise, it really was a great place.Nearby activities: Swimming pool and hot springs were incredible! We also found a cute and friendly vineyard several miles down the road.

Campsites have a very awkward setup, the fire pits are very close to camper/ RV. The shop does not open until 11am so if you need anything you are out of luck and no one will answer the phone either. Supplies like ice and firewood are limited, they didn't have ice for 4 days. When we went to empty our tanks to leave, the sewer line completely backed up and when we asked what we should do, the camp helper told us to empty the waste on our site and they would clean it up later, gross! The showers are really decrepit and dirty, poo splatter all over side of toilets and cobwebs EVERYWHERE they obviously do not pay much attention to the bathrooms. Also, the shower water is only one temperature and it is HOT!! I had to bath my daughter in the sink water, the showers were just too hot. The playground is falling apart and probably not the safest for kiddos. All in all, not the best camping experience with this place.

This is not your average hot springs. I felt like a kid again with all the activities offered at the giant indoor pool. I got to bang up my shins, trying to log roll, to a back flop while trying a back flip, fail at dunking a basketball again... it was a very good time. I'm a little sore, but then again, I should be able to accept the consequences at my age knowing well what they would be going in. It was very fun to hit a 12 foot diving board(theres also a regular one). I did not experience the private pools at this place, but there you can make the water a custom temperature. The pool was at 92° F which is not too hot to hang out for a while. There was a cold shower thingy at one end of the pool that had spread out individual streams to cool off as well. If you're looking to relax, head up the road to Miracle, this pool was designed for adventure and play. The campsite had an absolutely stunning waterfall right across the river. Well theres a few... Did I mention you're camping one row back from the river? They have docks, so bring you're fishing poles because there must have been 1000 fish jumping in the morning when I woke. Kayak and paddleboard rentals are a great way to check out the waterfall, or bring your own. They've got RV sites with power/water/sewer hook-ups, and all the people staying here were friendly and created a sense of community(typical with RV/Camper crowds, but I was just in a tent, and was offered nearly every meal, and invited to hang out!). I had a great time.Honey Bucket at the far end, and a 2 shower/1 toilet building near the front. I would almost recommend the honey bucket over the toilet in the shower facility.Safety: You're on your own, please be responsible and safe near any body of water.

Quaint indoor hot spring heated large pool designed for kids and families. Almost all the way around the edges it is marked as 3 feet, then slopes gently deeper towards the roped off diving boards. The kids especially liked the water polished (real) log chained to the ceiling where they could try out their lumber jack skills. There is a shallow designated kiddie pool sealed off with a wall in one corner. The RV sites are just side by side gravel. The tent sites along the river are prime, grassy, with boat docks all along the way. Stay there if you don't need power, water etc. There are boats available to rent. Military discount available.Food & drinks: There's a little snack bar and party room right inside the pool building

The private hot-tubs are will worth it! They get you toasty and red as a tomato ?. Afterwards you can relax by fishing or setting up camp to stay the night. Big indoor pool so you can swim even if the weather is bad outside.
