I had some fun. Ended up using a baseball bat and putting the kart into the bunker at hole 12 but who cares? A worker named Andrew told me that the other workers were non-sigma matrix agents and soyboy "ching chongs" which was pretty cool to know.Savannah ended up rear ending my 500k Rolls Royce and then saying "sorry, I'm such a Libra, Slay!" She then evaded me as I tried to get her information.Sam in the pro shop decided it would be a fun idea to break my driver in front of my face.Might golf here again if these kids had some respect.

Beautiful course, often a bit overpriced considering some of the gems of courses that we have available locally, but worth a play. Impeccably well maintained.

Big fan of Avondale. If you like true rolling greens, this is the place for you. Nice layout and nice people, too.

I've been going for a year now. I love it. Great people. Beautiful course as well as great food and bar. It was not expensive to be a member.

We had a client fly in to meet our team and check out North Idaho. We booked an 11:08 tee on a beautiful summer day in an effort to give our client a memorable experience. We showed up to the course and there was an event finishing up so it was busy which was fine. We teed off at 11:02am and finished at 2:55pm, just under 4 hours. We had a couple different marshals approach us three separate times trying to get us to play faster. They even attempted to have us pick up and skip a hole. The group behind us never waiting once for us the entire round. I was appalled at the lack of golf etiquette and overall unprofessional interaction with not only the marshals but the pro shop and ultimately the new GM. After the round, I explained the situation to the pro shop, and left a note for the GM. The pro shop was unapologetic and lacked any confidence that the situation or message would be passed along to the GM. Since I didn't receive a follow up call, I reached out and left another message with the Pro shop and the GMs office. Another week went by with nothing so I called again and finally spoke to the new GM. He game a half hearted apology and basically offered me nothing (twilight rate next time I come out). After almost $600 in greens fees and another $100 with the beverage gal, and a terrible experience and that's the thanks we get? Avondale Golf Course in Hayden Idaho sure left a memorable experience, but not the one we were looking for. I'll never go back and would never recommend this course to anyone.

One of the nicer course in the area. Great pro shop, putting green, and shirt game area. The driving range is mats only which is a bummer but still allows you to warm up and work on swing mechanics. The range is short so if you can get ahold of driver it’s probably not a good place to practice.

I played this past Friday as a guest of a member and the course was in exceptional shape. Fairways were well maintained, bunkers were raked and leveled, greens were superfast, and tee boxes were cared for. Very challenging layout, so if you want a reality check on how your game is progressing, this is a great place to start. Have played seven area courses this summer and this is by far the most challenging!

I’ve played most courses in the area, but today was my first time playing Avondale. It was without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had at a golf course. After being talked to like I was an idiot by the guy at the pro shop for trying to clarify the dress code, and being confronted by a the game marshall for doing nothing wrong (someone nearly hit me with a ball off the 1st tee box before I even took my second stroke and didn’t bother to yell fore or anything, so I helped her drive go another 80 yards into the water) I will likely never come back here. The only normal and polite people I met here were the cart girl (I think her name was charity) and a couple random members.

$120 to play now,it’s so not worth it,might as well be a private course, but that’s what Hayden Lake Idaho is all about now.

Stay away at all costs!! You will have the worst golfing experience ever. Had a company golfing trip and was consistently rushed despite keeping a steady pace. Was asked to skip a hole by the Marshal and was told multiple times to pick the ball up to move to the next hole. Marshal was not friendly about approaching us. If you aren't playing at a par or better do not go as you are clearly not welcome.

Greens are beat up. Many pitch marks in the greens. Bunkers are rocky and have too much sand. Bunkers are not edged well. They are very overgrown. Hard pan lies in the fairways. It seems like their irrigation system may have failed in some areas, leaving them soaked or without any water. My round also took 5 hours to complete. Overall, terrible, overpriced golf course that is horribly overpriced.
