My car's alternator went out about 15 miles south of this mechanic shop. I pretty much googled the closest mechanic shop to me and hoped for the best. Despite my misfortune though, my luck changed when I found Hemsley's. They saw my distress coming in (driving alone with a check battery light on is no small feat) and were able to fix my alternator that day. They are good, honest people and the owner even test drives all the cars after repairs to make sure they're running well. I can tell they take a lot of pride in their work, I would recommend them to anyone having car troubles or just need routine maintenance.”

“Holy crap these guys charged me $190 for a group 24 battery. Absolutely ridiculous it doesn't matter that they're willing to price match cheaper stores in town they're just straight up ripping off people who don't check things of course I took it back and went somewhere else and paid $139 for one with a better warranty. That was a pretty drastic situation there absolutely insane but I still do business here I just watch the prices close”

I originally stopped in just to get an estimate for repairs on my vehicle. From the moment I walked through the door, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. After I left, I realized I needed to ask what I should do to cover my broken back windshield until I decided where to have the repairs done. I went back, and Korbyn immediately had another employee cover my rear window for me without hesitation.
At that point, they had no idea whether I was even going to choose their shop for the repairs. That simple act of kindness spoke volumes about the kind of people they are. They went above and beyond before they ever knew if they'd earn my business, and that meant a lot to me.
Once my vehicle was in the shop, the experience only got better. Every time I had a question, they were quick to answer, kept me updated throughout the process, and completed the repairs in just two days. Other shops had quoted me at least a week, so I was incredibly impressed by both their efficiency and the quality of their communication.
I was raised to pay attention to how people treat you, and this team treated me with genuine respect, kindness, and honesty from start to finish. Excellent customer service can be hard to find these days, and they exceeded my expectations in every way.

“On May 8, 2026, I went to the Burley, Idaho 83318 location with a bad battery. Rick helped me out at my car with my battery which is located under my back seat. My battery was no good and gave us a lot of issues. Rick was so patient with me and my car. He was out in the hot sun with me for at least 45 minutes. He got me jumped and on my way to where I needed to go to get further help.
