We've had L&L process multiple animals from us over the years, and they always do a phenomenal job. They work fast and efficient and are super friendly as well! Meat is always cut and packaged perfectly. They are very helpful with choosing cuts and will answer any questions from recipes to tips on animal welfare. Extremely responsive to messages and calls. We won't use any other butcher in the valley!

Worst ground beef I’ve ever had. Told them how much fat we wanted added and they didn’t. It cooks down like 50/50 fat. Drips over everything and the grill has to be cleaned after every time. When you are planning on buying a years worth of meat I would not take it here.

You won't find a better shop in the area. They are the true definition of a mom and pop shop. They do quality work at a good price. It really shows the pride they take in the work they do. It doesn't come as a surprise I have to book a date a year out!

OH MY....This will be long but honest. When my wife and I first found these folks we were ecstatic to say the least. We had found a small, local, mom and pop style, butcher shop. We thought they were perfect for our needs. We promoted them, purchased the most amazing steaks from them, shared all their social media, and even sent folks to them directly for processing. I even participated in one of their Facebook contests and won! The first animal we sent them they had to call and reschedule; the butcher date got pushed out about two weeks but both the person who was getting the meat and us were understanding of the situation. We then scheduled another mobile butcher with them. September 28th was the day. That morning I got a message from them stating they needed to reschedule 1.5 weeks out. Now we knew this was coming as they had an amazing uptick in business from county fairs this year which was great for them! And we were both very happy for them and completely understanding. We gave them an additional 4 weeks to make it work and the new date was October 26th. At 830 pm on October 26th I messaged them asking when they were planning on coming out and got a generic automated response. The next day I called, then the next day, and the next day, and so on. No response was ever received. Finally, a week later on November 2nd I had enough and got on their Facebook and posted a comment on their newest post (which they immediately removed); it wasn't mean, it simply asked why they were a week late on my butcher and asked why they wouldn't respond to my messages. And that this isn't the kind of service I was used to from them. Within 15 minutes of me posting this and them removing it I got a message, it was magic. "Sorry my secretary didn’t get back to you. We are planning to be there Sunday." That would make the new butcher date November 8th, for those not keeping track that's 6 weeks late. They did finally show up on that day with an extremely cold shoulder. No apology offered and they wouldn't hardly look me in the eye. They had plenty of opportunity to apologize for the situation but nothing. At this point I was done with L&L Meats LLC that's was the final straw, but wait there's more...When the animal was finally processed and ready for pick up I went to get it. The gal I believe was Daniel's sister was very cold shouldered as well (must be a family trait) couldn't seem to get me pushed out of the shop fast enough. I got my meat and got it loaded into the truck and came home. The packaging is a mix of plastic wrap and vacuum bags and plastic wrap and freezer paper. Not sure why there was a mix of packaging styles but either way. As we were putting away the meat we noticed some packaging of the vacuum bags were not sealed there was air in the bags. Just half dozen or so we thought we'd just eat them first. However, now as we pull out packages of meat more and more of them have lost their seal and leak all over when thawing. This is a huge issue! We have a vacuum sealer so we'll fix it ourselves but we shouldn't have to, none of this should've happened. Needless to say we are on the search for a new butcher maybe small and local was the wrong way to go. Or maybe they bit off more than they could handle. It's great to be thriving in your business but you should make sure you don't take on so much that you can't keep your promises.***UPDATE***Within an hour of posting a review I got two messages one from their Facebook and this one directly from Daniel "I don't know if my business messages are working so i thought I'd reach out this way, If you would like to talk about issues with your animal i would be happy to, never heard anything until your review came through. Fyi most of your issues your bringing forward have been fired from my business because of the issues you have stated. And also i would like to add it was snowing and blistering cold when we were mobiling your animal unlike when we came out for the first jersey

Worst customer service ever. Does not communicate with the customer even after several messages left over 5 months then blames the breeder for their poor service. Calls customers asshiles for expecting them to communicate and asking for a discount after waiting so long and no communications. Trying to say we demanded and we only suggested we should get a discount. Would rather take care of friends first than paying customers.

I paid for a quarter of a steer, around 490 bucks. The hanging weight of my quarter steer was 116 pounds. I received 21 pounds of ground beef and 32 pounds of steak/roast /bones. ONLY 47% of the hanging weight. They are saying that this is typical to get only 47% from the hanging weight and its because it dries as it hangs. This was a grass fed steer which should have had minimum excess fat. I'm not sure, but it's not what I've experienced in the past from other butchers. Id like to know where the other 15 pounds of my meat is. They also charged me top price for the offal. It was 14 lbs of liver and I paid 56.00 bucks. I was told 4.00 lb. just like all the other meat. Now I'm looking at other farmers and butchers offering it for 1.50 lb. Shameful. I didn't know any better and I was taken advantage of. I called them and told them my concerns about the low amount of meat back, I got many long silent pauses. Then they called my farmers and were so nasty to them on phone they had to block this butcher. Also this lady has absolutely no tact at all. No smile, no small talk, no real greeting, no friendliness in her voice whatsoever. Just a cold face when I went to pick up my meat. And this was how she treated us BEFORE we questioned the quantity when she thought everything was hunky dory. They have a note taped on their countertop where you pay. It says if you don't pick up your meat in x number of days from being called they keep it and sell it. I think that's a pretty important detail that should have been mentioned when she left the voicemail that my meat was ready the day before Thanksgiving! Do you know how many people leave town for thanksgiving? Did she sell some of my meat? who knows. All I know is in the end, I ended up paying like 7.00 lb for ground beef and 11.00 lb for all else. I feel ripped off.

Surprised I'm the first to review here on Google. First time buyer through L & L, had a hog and a goat done. The meat has been excellent, and the cut and wrap was the best I've had done here in the valley. They are also extremely responsive to messages, and even insisted on loading up all the boxes into the back of my truck for me. Only thing I would ask (which is minor), I had the sausage split into maple and italian, but they aren't labeled which is which? We don't find out until it's defrosted. Maybe next time if you could label each kind, that would be awesome. Thank you again and looking forward to our next purchase.

The great folks at L&L meats have been our families go to for quite sometime now. They always strive to make their customers happy. They are an old fashioned business where their word is like a binding contract. If they say your order will be ready in Tuesday morning, well it's ready then or the day before. They are very good at communicating with their customers. They call you if there are any questions and always are available to call for scheduling. They do wild game and hunters have also found this as one of the best to go to during hunting season! The establishment is impeccably clean and the staff are top notch in their customer service! Easy to find on the main road. They bring your order out to the car for you and load it all up too!
