Place is closed. No wonder. They didn't take Medicare and Medicaid. Tried to but somehow couldn't get the coding right. I mean who has cash to walk into these places?

This is literally the last place I’d go if I were you. I’m a really tolerant person and definitely don’t get agitated. I go with the flow and am considered a pretty nice person. So I am warning you. Don’t go there. The billing is all overcharged and not managed correctly. The place is very dirty. Like, gross. I not a clean freak. The windows, floors, doors, furniture, even the table cloth on the table with free masks and hand sanitizer was dirty from a previous event. I actually think this place is shut down .

My children started America Health when they took over the company my kids had been coming to for medication management for years (Upper Valley Family Counseling) .We first went to the rexburg location because we lived in Rigby but we moved to Idaho Falls a couple months ago and so we came to the Idaho Falls location. We saw Todd Bates and he renewed my kids rx's .When I went to fill my sons rx our pharmacy was out of stock. I called the office and they said Todd Bates was not in but they had another doctor call in the rx to a pharmacy that had it in stock, no problem. Fast forward a couple of weeks later we had the same problem trying to fill my daughters medication.I called the office and they informed me that she had been switched to another provider but that the provider was home sick with covid, but that I could text them to have them call it in to another pharmacy. The provider ( haskell I believe) refused to call in the medication but would not reply to me to tell me why. I called the office and they said that he would need to see my daughter in person. (Could be weeks since he was out sick with covid.) The provider believed she was on too large a dose. I am sure he did not look at her file to realize that she is 17, 5 foot 9 and very adult sized and that she has been on this same rx for years and was consistent with medication management and monitored on this dose monthly and then every 3 months for years, and this was found to be the therapeutic dose for her.She was already prescribed this medication by another provider. The new provider does not need to see her to call in a current rx to another pharmacy. I asked why we were switched to this HORRIBLE new provider and was informed the one we saw had quit. This provider that was out sick was so concerned about her dosage but did not give a h*ll that she had already been with out her medication for 4 days and that she would most likely be without it for longer-if he was so concerned about the dose, shouldn't he be equally concerned about the effects of going completely OFF the medication?!?!Sounds like their Rexburg office closed down unexpectedly and providers are quitting this company- there must be reasons and I can definitely say this is the worst experience I have ever had. I will be sure to let everyone know about the horrible experience we had with America health .

Apparently they changed their hours, the only way to find that out is a sign on the door.

tested positive for Covid-19 (home test) on 2/26. Called to get retested ( out of home tests) and was told since I’m not currently showing symptoms they won’t test me. ? Great system ?

I been going to Ameri Health for some years now… but today the experience that I had with Brandy Larson. It was very Bad And she is my only Provider…But today I had a very bad experience with her, She is very unprofessional When treating someone..She does not provide any help to me when I go there…. And when she speaks to you she’s far away she’s very negligent .I don’t recommend anybody going to her.

Not so urgent care.EDIT: And they practically robbed me.The receptionist was kind enough to offer me a time slot, instructing me to show up at 10 AM.I show up at 10 AM sharp and she tells me, sorry, we're extremely busy right now, you have to wait. My total visit was an hour and a half. And to make it worse, because I was there for a cough, they treated me as a covid patient, even though I told them I don't have covid, and made me wait in my car the whole time.Genuinely a low quality experience, I won't go back.EDIT: After this charade, they had the audacity to bill me $174! That's after insurance. That's twice the cost of an urgent care visit in every other one of the 5 other states I've lived in. Pray you don't have to go here, these people will rob you.

They have a somewhat inefficient refill procedure. I usually have had to call the pharmacy 1 or 2 times, then call them 1 or 2, times and get a call back, then make 1 or 2 more calls to the pharmacy. Otherwise the providers there are personable and do what they can given patient load. I've been there a few times where it seems like patient privacy isn't a huge concern - at one point I needed a procedure and they brought 5 or so people into the room without asking me, which kind of sucked. Otherwise good.

The nurse was very disrespectful. I had strep throat and there's only one very tiny sign stating to call in if feeling ill. No one wears masks despite being worried about catching something. The nurse who is pregnant and was worried about being sick didn't have any protective gear. The receptionists for the counseling side are awful as well and never remember who is who or when your schedule. Don't waste your time.

The medical director is ok with having providers that fill out lies on their paperwork saying they did things they didnt. I went in to get seen for what I suspected was some kind of upper respiratory infection. When I got seen them Dr was only concerned about Covid, which I got is probably protocol. But after I tested negative he did not do any evaluation beyond making a guess of oh you probably just have a cold. Not once did this dr look up ny nose, in my ears at my throat, or liaten to my lungs. So then I talk to the manager and explain why im upset and all I'm asked is what do you want out of this phone call? Like ok so your dr can get away with lying saging that he did all these things when he didnt! And I still get charged for it! Apparently I paid 150 dollars to get told to take cold meds. Well surprise! I have an infection was still sick a week after and had to see another dr that ACTUALLY did look at my ears nose and throat and listened to my lungs! DONT GO TO THIS PLACE! I WAS TOLD THEY DONT EVEN HAVE REAL LICENSED DRS! -5 STARS FOR LACK OF CARING.Heres whats crazy to me as the last time I came in I had gotten something stuck in my ears and for that I got the full check ups lots of questions and then got what was stuck in my ear out. But when im actually sick its lets lie and say we did all this stuff when we didnt and swnd them on their way because if they dont have Covid then we dont care about them. Because Covid brings in funding and a sinus infection doesnt.

I’m new to the area and needed a lot done. I was able to get in same day for primary care, then I was able to come back the next day for allergy testing. Both times I was in and out within an hour. A week earlier I brought my son in just before closing and got a COVID test with results within a half hour! They have a lot of other services that no one else in the area offers.
