They have worked with me for a while and done urgent work on one of the dogs when nail got damaged. Fantastic place all the staff is great and I love the vet I see.

I highly recommend countryside. My 8 yr old pitbull had been limping around for quite some time. I originally was going to a different vet in town and saw that countryside did the surgery my dog needed. I called & was told a retired dr could see my dog the next day and determine if surgery was possible. After meeting with Dr.Frances I knew I wanted to proceed with TPLO surgery to give my dog a better quality of life. Dr Frances exceeded my expectations by calling me before and after my dogs surgery and even a follow up the following day. Cindy his assistant was also so caring and compassionate. I was very sad to see my dog go into surgery and she was very kind to the two of us. Girls at the front desk were great too. I highly recommend Countryside & I can’t thank Dr Frances enough for his expertise and compassion towards my dog and I.

Dr Mackin is a one in a million. So glad she's back in town. Last Friday our dachshund Gene fell I'll and every vet I called was booked solid, but Dr Mackin suggested the emergency vet just up the street.Turns out our little guy was full of cancer and his heart murmur had grown so he didn't make it. Dr Mackin must have called them to see how Gene was doing because she found out he had passed and sent us a card. We are devistated, but knowing she cared about us really helped.Today, my Chihuahua came to me with a swollen face. I knew Dr. Mackin was doing surgeries, but called anyway and were able to get in 2 hours later to see her. I wish I could find a doctor for humans with as much compassion.So we have antibiotics for the next few days and then my little dude, Punch will be going back for an abscessed tooth. It's been one tough week, but I'm so grateful for Dr. Mackin and I still love Dr. Shoemaker too.I drive all the way from Rigby so my kids can see the best and Punch did not need a muzzle where in Rigby he did.

My dog was in a very serious health crisis and the staff at Countryside was amazing, Dr. Rolston made sure to educate me and show me all of my options. I credit him and his assistants for my baby’s life.
