What was broken was fixed, but something that was fine is now broken (x2)A car slid against the side of my truck in January, I tried for 2 months to go to any body shop besides Dan's, because I had heard of poor experiences. But I had Progressive and Dans was the only place that worked directly with them. So my Progressive agent called with me and they scheduled my appointment.... For 5 months later in August.Fast forward, I take my truck in on the day, I get it back within 2 weeks. And I come to find that the button on my driver door panel that locks and unlocks the ability for passengers to control their windows is loose, still working, but wiggling about.Today I stop by, they take it back. I'm told they wouldn't have had anything to do with it, they'll replace the whole panel of switches for $100. I asked them to put it back in the door so I could go. The button does not work at all now. This whole experience has made me so sad, and frustrated. But it's fine I guess when I want that button to work I'll go pay $100 somewhere. Took a star away for each week the repair got delayed. Wouldn't have been much of an issue normally because usually things are out of their control. However, every time I called the receptionist would tell me the reason, then I'd get a message with a different reason, then the insurance would tell me something else. Seemed like they just squeezing out the insurance as much as possible. Original estimate was around 12k with each delay it would increase a little until it reached 17k. Also got a $50 parking pass taken out of my car which was annoying. When I went to pick up my car they made me sign a paper saying I'd remove things from my car if I didn't want them lost. Maybe they should have people sign it when they drop of the car instead seems way less shady that way.If the car doesn't have any issues for the next 5 months related to the repairs then I'll move my rating up to 4 stars since the repairs appear to be good. Although they do outsource to other companies for portions of the repair that they don't do themselves. Not sure much they actually did themselves.

Dans Collision has come to my aid more than once when Lady Luck was not with me on the road. They do everything within their control to make sure you are taken care of in the best possible way. They assist with a big smile and a big heart. That is hard to find these days!Services: Tires

I had an insurance claim with progressive and ended up at Dan's collision. I have to say that the plastic parts on my car already cracked, but that doesn't reflect on Dan's collision. Over all the car looked very nice upon finish. I have a few other problems to deal with on this vehicle, I believe in my particular case I should have just totaled this one out. It's a 2016 Kia forte. Cheap car but it's costing nearly what I owe on it to fix it. Dan's was the only reason I didn't. Their low costs and superior work made the difference in my mind.

A shopping cart plowed into the side of our car on a windy day. The car was new, and had one of those tricky (complex) paint jobs. The cart hit the car in just the right place that the dent couldn't be just pulled out. When we got it back from Dan's, it was indistinguishable from as new. I mean, it was a big dent in a bad place.Service: Body & Trim

Went there to get a repair estimate after a mild self inflicted accident.Spent time there.The estimator said he'll email me the estimate. It's been OVER A WEEK, and still, NOTHING!!!Why waste my time if you have no intentions of sending me the estimate???

I recently stopped at Dan's to see if they could help with a very slippery step which I use to get into my truck. The rubber mat had torn off and with the wet weather, it was extremely dangerous trying to get in the truck with out splatting.Within minutes of arriving, a young man came out and assessed the situation. The cost of a repair was at least $500.00. While still catching my breath, the young man said to wait just a minute and he disappeared. He came back and within 5 minutes the rubber piece was secured back to the step and I was on my way. He wouldn't accept anything for the fix, but wished me a happy holiday.Dan's will continue to be my choice for auto body repairs. Their customer service is reminiscent of yesteryear when a customer was treated right.THANKS DAN's - and the happiest of holidays to each of you!Service: Body & Trim

Edited: Left what I first wrote below. I took my car back to Dan’s a third time to have them look at the headlights after they called me to see if they were working better. They gave me a check for the $20 that was stolen from my car and all employees were wearing masks this time which I appreciated. However. They looked at my headlights and showed me that they’re not turning off because the trunk is misaligned and not closing correctly. I’m pretty upset about this because when I took my car to them the first time, there was never any problem with the trunk or the lights turning off. They showed me that I now have to get out of my car, open the trunk and slam it as hard as I can to get the lights to turn off. I don’t know if they did something to my trunk or if it got messed with when it was broken into or what but this is very upsetting. I appreciate that they tried to make it right, but something happened to my car while it was in their possession that I never had an issue with previously. Even after the accident I drove it for 3 weeks with no problems while the insurance processed my claim so this is definitely on their end.I took my car here after I was in a car accident. They did work on the drivers door and back door. When I got my car back, my drivers side door wouldn’t unlock because the lock would get stuck and I had to open another door to get into my car. They also did something wrong when putting the head lights back in and now my headlights don’t turn off when left on the auto option, which ended up killing my battery. Also, no one in the office wears a mask which is super unprofessional during this pandemic. Finally, my car was broken into when it was in their lot and money was taken from my car. They did not offer to reimburse me for this. And they were the ones at fault because they decided to keep my unlocked car in their lot with a open fence due to current construction. I took the car back in and they STILL didn’t fix the headlights, but they did fix the lock. I would not recommend this place, go anywhere else and you’ll probably receive better quality.Service: Body & Trim
