Idaho Falls Animal Shelter

Hours: The Idaho Falls Animal Shelter is a clean facility where the animals are well taken care of and kept in clean spaces. The staff and volunteers are very friendly, nice, and accommodating, showing phenomenal care about the animals’ wellbeing. They are very helpful in finding the best fit for a person's lifestyle and preferences during adoption. Many have had phenomenal adoption experiences, finding overjoyed pets. The shelter advocates for rescue, giving animals a better situation. However, the shelter relies on community support and needs more dog walkers and donations of dry dog and cat food. Potential adopters should be aware that there can be a learning curve with new pets, who may have medical conditions or behavioral signs of past abuse not always fully disclosed. Some rules, like quiet times, can affect the adoption process. Overall, the shelter is doing everything it can to rehome the unfortunate animals of the city.
