I just experienced what personal attention should mean from a bank. We encountered a difficult problem with an online payment, and after the customer service team exhausted all their options, we reached out to Steffen in business banking and after several hours of work he and his team fixed the issue and got us squared away. Great communication along the way. They took a personal interest in our issue and fixed it. Very satisfied.

Opened up a checking account because keybank was offering a $200 bonus if I deposited $500 within the first 60 days. I made a deposit of $375 on Wednesday and another of $125 on Friday…$500 right! Keybank told me I didn’t qualify for the bonus because the $500 deposit wasn’t made all at once?! Closed my account on the spot! Avoid this bank if you value your time and money.

I have never seen a company be so disconnected from their online services. I stupidly opened my account online, because it was after hours and with 3 kids it is easier for me to do things online. I've had issue after issue because there is a lack of communication between the brances and the phone customer service. Now I deposited a check on mobile deposit, and even though it said the funds are available next day, there is a 1 week hold. 4th of July is ruined for our family. We won't be able to use that money to go down to river as planned. I also opened this account to deposit wedding checks into, and now I'm not confident they will be available in time for our honeymoon. It is my fault for not doing better research and not taking the time to go into the branch to open the account. Just be wary- this bank is not connected to their online counterpart. They do not communicate the way most places do.For the most part, people have been kind. Its just frustrating.

I banked with keybank for almost a decade. I had no issue until things were less than perfect. I almost always kept my account positive and have had direct deposit for over six years. The company I work for had an issue with direct deposit and dispensed paper check. I went in to deposit almost half my check and they tell me they need it all deposited. Wouldn’t be an issue if I wasn’t waiting for my debit card to come but no sympathy for the clerk. That being said I won’t be doing any business with keybank again.

I have never had problems with this bank until today. I called trying to get help with an issue I was having, the front desk person seemed reluctant to help me and she transferred me to the branch manager who basically told me it's not her problem and was being very rude, absolutely terrible customer service and she kept interrupting me and talking over me. I called to simply get some help, I was not being rude at all so I am not understanding why I was being treated so poorly. I have been with this bank for 4 years next month and after today I am definitely considering switching to another bank. There was no reason for her to treat me like that and try to make me feel like I was stupid.
