Couldn't get a room higher than fourth floor, due to having my dog. No big issue, but would have given us a better view of idaho falls and the river. Otherwise, prices were great, service was excellent, would definitely go back.Walkability: Great location for restaurants, things to do, stores, ATMs, ect.

Wow, stay away from this property, stayed a few yrs ago, it used to be a dump back then, took photos of all the nasty stuff & sent it to corporate when the sent me a review request, corporate was horrified and granted me 10,000 point to make up for things & try them again. We did, same hotel, they definitely did a face-lift on the hotel, looked nice & was comfy but they still don't clean the vents in their rooms and there was thick lint in all the ducts in the room & bathroom, so bad everything we turned on the bathroom vent the lint was flying off in chunks! I told them about it when we left & did the review from Corp and this property banned me via an email! If I can post a photo I will. So unprofessional & rude!Rooms: not properly maintained

We enjoyed our stay at Comfort Suites in Idaho Falls. We had a great view of the falls and LDS temple from our room on the 8th floor. The continental breakfast is adequate compared to other hotels we've stayed at. We were concerned about hot water in our rooms but it was there in the morning when we needed it most. The furniture in the room we were in looked modern and had numerous shelves and plugs for our phones and other devices to recharge. Bed was comfortable.

Stayed at this hotel, because you could have pets for a small fee, it is close to the river, and it has beautiful architecture from the outside. First impression of the hotel is it had nice design with updated furnishings. The reason why I docked stars is because the cleanliness of the room and the poorly implemented construction of the updated features. The carpet in our room was abysmal, and you noticed stains immediately upon entering. There was orange stains on our bedspread, significant dust all over the mini fridge, and brown/back grim splatter on the inside of the bathroom curtain.Rooms are not quiet because there is a wide gap on the hotel doors that lets in all sound. Balcony doors let in a lot of sound from people who are on the river/in the parking lot.

This is my most favorite hotel in all of Idaho Falls. I do a lot of traveling, and like to stay in as many different hotels as I possibly can, with the exception of when I come to Idaho Falls. I really like this hotel. I always look forward to coming back to this place whenever I’m in town. The staff is courteous and treat you with respect. The rooms are spacious and clean, and have recently been updated, with the exception of their not so smart, smart televisions. The hotel is located across the street from the Snake river. The round shaped building towers far over all of the other hotels in the area, and because of its location. Shape and size, it’d puts you smack in the middle of the World famous Idaho Falls offering a breathtaking view that you can both see and feel from any floor. I will take with me so many great memories associated with this place,, and sadly may never return. As I wind down to my last few days here I thought that I should share a little appreciation for this place. I’m going to miss idaho Falls.Rooms: Large for the valueNearby activities: Lots of restaurants, beautiful scenery, relaxing atmosphere, even when busy.Safety: The front desk pays attention, but is not intrusive.Walkability: I’m not usually a Walmart shopper. However, located about a quarter mile away is a Walmart supercenter that is well stocked with just about anything you could possibly need not to mention that there are literally multiple restaurants with full service bars, located within a few hundred feet.Food & drinks: For breakfast eggs juice coffee, sausage biscuits, continental.

We had a nice room with king-sized bed. Pro was pet friendly (extra $25 not disclosed in advance) and the river walk location. We could see river and enjoyed the sound. It was quiet at night.Didn't get the walk-in shower we had reserved. They don't clean except by request. Our room had a smear of blood on the bathroom wall. The balcony door track was almost room dirty to open the door, and the lock needed to be oiled. Carpet was dirty.

This motel (we stayed in the other building with the pool) is dated and kinda what you’d expect from this brand. No frills, some litter in and around the pool (didn’t swim) and the rooms are dated. The faux wood floor was filthy with debris and dirt.HUGE NEGATIVE: The Motel shares property with a convention center that threw a bass busting party starting at 10:00 PM. Literally door rattling bass coming from the building that shares a wall with the pool area. When we called the front to inquire (I assumed the hotel/motel owned the building) we were informed that it was a separate business and nothing could be done. Ultimately the hotel called the police and asked that we do the same to lodge an “official disturbing the peace complaint,” which we did.Ultimately the noise reduced for about 15 minutes after the police contacted the business, but it went back to the higher volume shortly thereafter.Oh…did I mention the Mariachi band practicing in the pool courtyard preparing for their time on stage???!!! Seriously, a Mariachi band if full regalia. WOW. Now I like me some Mariachi music, but not when I’m trying to sleep…I know, that’s just crazy.I will NEVER stay here again.Prices were abnormally high given the start of school and students moving in to BYUI.Rooms: Dated room and dirty floors. Good water pressure. Beds were decent. Clean linen.

Great hotel that saved us from a disaster hotel down the street (Le Ritz)! Very clean modern rooms that were recently renovated. Very nice staff! Also a great view of the snake river right by the Idaho Falls Temple. Nearby is a nice paved path for running or biking. The only thing that could have been better was there was no place to hang our towels as there were very few hangers/hooks and no towel bar. Other than that it was great!

Lovely. Stayed two nights in Idaho Falls. Reviews mentioned remodeled rooms. Pay more and stay in a large room with river view and falls. Glad I did.? Balcony with chairs. Cable TV, new bed, good shower. Full breakfast. Lit parking lot. Very pleasant staff. In lobby, you can buy frozen microwave food, snacks, drinks and a few incidentals. Went to the zoo and even in the summer heat, still saw lots of animals and gorgeous birds. Also, being a round building, easier to spot while out walking. Will try there first on my next trip. I was on eighth floor...going up!! Try the gift shop down the block for great smelling huckleberry lotion!Rooms: Comfy sofa with lounge at the end. Rectangular table/desk where I ate breakfast. Lots of USB outlets. Balcony door was difficult to open, glad I kept trying...nice to sit and watch the falls.Nearby activities: Gift shop, Italian, Mexican and sushi restaurants. Saw a brewery. Walk and walk and sit at benches by river. Cross the busier street(at the light)for the Friendship Garden . Downtown area on other side of river.Safety: I felt safe as long as I stayed away from balcony rail. 8th floor. Went out to parking lot after 10p.m. and was lit up. Just watch yourself in driving lane.Walkability: Walk for miles should you wish.Food & drinks: Snacks and microwave food at hotel or go to restaurants or brewery down the block. Full breakfast at the hotel.

Have stayed here numerous times over the years. Friendly personnel, always very helpful. Comfortable rooms and a great view, if you're on the Fall side of the building. Rooms have always been clean and the beds are comfortable. Great value for the price. Plenty of outlets, including USB, to charge your devices. I travel for business, so that's something I have to rely on. I always try to stay at this location whenever work brings me into town.

Nathan, the late night front desk attendant, was very helpful and friendly. Do not stay on the first floor. There is no sound insulation in the room at all. Could hear every elevator button push, every chair moved, and every person walk by or make any noise with intense detail. The atrium acts as a massive echo chamber. When we arrived to the room there was: paint on the carpet, no tv remote, a dirty towel in the bathroom, and multiple lights that didn’t work. Shabbiest commercial remodel I’ve ever seen. Maybe add some felt bumpers to the bottom of the chairs in the lobby so they don’t make as much noise when the kids at breakfast move them back and forth and back and forth and back and forth repeatedly. Better yet, proper sound insulation would be great. Also every single light fixture is “bright white” or at least 4000k. This makes everything feel like a hospital. We did not have a restful nights sleep at all. Looks like a decent hotel if you close your eyes. I couldn’t imagine spending more than a single night here. Not worth the money at all.

The place was being remodeled so the lobby was a little grungy. But my suite was freshly remodeled and was beautiful. The balcony overlooking the roaring Snake River was very cool. It looks like all or most rooms have balconies! Service at the front desk was super as well!
