So many times over the last 20+ years, we have bought produce from Sam's Club in IF that looked good in the store in the bag but was rotted when we opened the bag at home. I feel that Sam's Club products have really gone down the tubes in the last few years. They moved away from the typical brands they carried to the "Members Mark" brand, which is nowhere near as good as the original brand name products they carried. This is the third bag of rotten celery we have gotten from Sam's in the last two months. Before that, we ended up with rotten bags of potatoes and apples and other kinds of produce we live close to Sam's Club and that's why we have kept our membership there, but we no longer want to have to make returns to the store. Sam's Club could fix this problem, or at least improve upon it, I believe!! But, I believe, they just hope that people won't bother to return it. I think it's time to get a Costco membership, even though it is all the way across town, I have never heard of people getting rotten produce from there, even though it may happen occasionally. Occasionally is better than often.

The prices are much higher in most food items than Winco. Why pay for a membership ? Very disappointed.

If you're looking for new tires at a good price, then consider Sam's Club. Saved $120 and was out in under an hour. But don't expect services other than install, rotate or balance. For example, Sam's Club does not do wheel alignment. Go elsewhere if you need full automotive services.

The store was clean. The workers were friendly. The snack bar was yummy and quick. My one problem was the gas took forever. For just one gallon of premium gas, it took over five minutes and so we ended up canceling and going to a different gas station. All of the other customers were also complaining about this issue.

I love my Sam's. Yes partly because I have used their products and always find them to be high quality. But the little things, I love my icee there as I shop and their great hotdogs when I'm hungry. I looove the Scan and Go app I've used for years. Totally prevents any lines plus a digital receipt and history. That is way cool when You want to return those pants that didn't fit and you don't have to hunt down a paper receipt.

They were great! I am from California and was traveling through and my Shepherd was having some sinus issues. The vet assistant was so friendly and helpful. She made my normally anxious dog feel safe. The vet was amazing. He was straight forward and talked to me about medication options. Thank you so much! Everyone wore masks and sanitized. So grateful!

I'm a long time costco shopper - but we don't currently have one here in Idaho Falls (yet), but I've been impressed with how clean this place is. They have a lot of similarly priced items at Sam's club, but I will admit some of the clothing or other items are inferior when compared to Kirkland brand, but I'm ok with that. It is definitely a nice asset here in the community for bulk supplies.

Most the people in this store are helpful. This store has more than enough parking and restaurants that are nearby. It is a busy store and if you see something you like you need to by it if you waite it will be gone and they do not recieve the product again.

I've shopped at Sam's Club for 20 years for filling Vending Machines. I love the way they had originally organized the store. I wish it was a place I could count on to purchase candy & snacks in Bulk at the best price. However candy bars are 20% more here than when Kroger stores like Smith's & Fred Meyer have them on sale. Also each month Kroger sells their Soda for about 20.83 cents per can while Sam's Club sells theirs for 32.5 cents per can. I shop at Sam's Club because it's a great place (only place) to buy other Vending Machine items like pastries & Chips. I wish Sam's Club was a place you could count on for the best prices for buying in Bulk. It's not and never has been for me on most items. I love the Self Check out lines though and I love that for the most part they must treat there employees well because the same people have worked there for a long, long time. It's a good place too, to buy oranges.

I may very well have to agree on the customer service reviews here from other Yelpers. We went to purchase a mattress for my elderly parents & there was one left on the sales floor. My husband and son loaded it up and one of the employees then told us on our way to the checkout that we couldn't have it because a gentleman already bought it. Really? So why didn't he load up the heavy a** mattress and box spring and push it up to the checkout himself!!!! So instead of telling that guy sorry someone else got it, they took the mattress set my family loaded up to buy for my parents, pushed it up to the front and gave it to him! Then proceeded to tell us we could order online. So we went and bought our mattress somewhere else. Not sure if Sam Walton's business philosophy is to take product from one paying customer and give it to another who was too lazy to load it themselves!!

Tire Shop: great service! We came in when the front passenger side was making a loud squeaking noise. They took pity on us even when we were not members and checked it out on Labor Day, when no other place was open. Thanks to Dean and the mechanic at Sam's Club we are safe to travel! We appreciate them and their service they provided! We will be sure to be a part of the Sam's Club family!

I am writing tonight because I am completely disgusted with the service I encountered tonight at sams club. I went to the sams club off 17th in Idaho falls. I was there at least 10 minutes prior to when they photo center closed. After standing around looking the lady told us she had already shut down for the evening because the printers take awhile to shut off. I said but you don't close until 7 and it's before that so we can't print. Her reply was we could but would have to come back to tomorrow. Unacceptable. You do not close stores, pharmacies, restaurants etc prior to actual closing time because you have closing activities that go with it and you want to go home! So I said fine I have an online order I would like to pick up. Told her the name, etc and was told it didn't exist. However, I have a confirmation email and the online order status says "pick up in store." The worker then proceeded to argue with me about how my order doesn't exist. At that point I was done and said that was fine I needed to talk to a manager anyways about how they allow the photo center to close down during operational hours. To that she decided to say something nasty about me to the person standing next to her loud enough so she was sure I could hear it. I then went and asked for a manager and explained my two issues. She said that she agreed it was unacceptable and would deal with it so we walked over to the photo center. Did they find my order? No, they said i never even ordered anything despite showing them a confirmation email and order status update. Did they make the photo center operational so I could place me order? No Did anything get solved? No I will be cancelling my account with sams club and will never again do business with this store or any other. I am completely disgusted with the customer service, management solution, and that you can close a section prior to actual time because you want to go home. Now there is no resolution to any of that. I will simply take my business elsewhere and my extended family will do they same.

I shop at Sam's Club a lot to get my bulk fruits and veggies. I wish they had more healthier, organic options, but overall they do the job.

While there are some times where things can get frustrating, such as long waits at checkouts and the like, the employees here do their best to keep things rolling, such as scanning items while you're waiting in line, directing you to available checkouts such as jewelry and cellphones, and with the new Scan and Go app things are even easier. It makes it easier to just get what you need and get out without having to even stop at the checkout lanes! I've gotten some less than nice produce there before, but they were more than happy to refund my money, and I found some better looking things that were delicious! Prices are almost always cheaper than anywhere else in town, including gas, so definitely worth paying for the membership!

The store is complete trash. We moved here a few months ago from a place that had a local Costco. Wow, do we miss Costco! Idaho Falls Sam's Club prices are higher than Broulims, Smiths, and other high-end grocery stores. The other day, milk at Broulims (one of the highest priced and quality grocers in the area) was $2 per gallon - this was on 3/21/2015. On the other hand, milk per gallon at Sam's was quite a bit higher. Idaho Falls Sam's Club prices seem even higher or the same as the Walmart on Hitt Road. The prices at Sam's Club are definitely higher than Costco in Pocatello and the sizes seem much smaller. As an example, one of the Michaelangello's Lasagna containers at Sam's Club doesn't feed my family whereas one Kirkland Lasagna easily feeds my family at a lower cost. And, the Kirkland Lasagna is a much better tasting and quality lasagna. Even the gas at Sam's Club is often priced higher than area retail gas stations. Costco seems to have much higher quality everything - employees, produce, meat, and frozen foods. Why did I ever pay for a membership to pay prices that are so high? The lines at the customer service counter and the snack bar are unbelievably long. The line to have the exit employee review your receipt was about 50 yards long one day. Half of the carts have broken wheels. Their customer service is absolutely TERRIBLE. Just try to find someone to help you - they disappear when you approach. I asked for a manager on one day to share my frustrations with the store, and I waited about 8 minutes. I wish Costco would build a store in Idaho Falls, they would run Sam's out of business. When Costco comes to Idaho Falls, I just hope Costco doesn't hire any of the employees from this Sam's. I truly hate this store.
