We moved to the area recently and I thought that these vets were good initially. We had 2 cats. But then we picked up a stray from the street and brought him in. Turned out the cat had FIV. The vet told me that since the cat had some other issues 75% of people in a situation like this would put the cat down as well as the shelter. He also told me I can never introduce him to other cats as he will transmit the disease. I contacted the IF Shelter and they told me that they do not put down any cats especially FIV-positive. The amazing volunteers from the shelter helped us to resolve his health issues and were extremely supportive. They told me that FIV positive cats can live long lives and one of them had a cat just like this at home. It turned out she was right. With correct nutrition and care a lot of recent research shows that FIV positive cats can live like any other healthy cat. I did a lot of research on the Internet myself and it turned out there are lots of recent research and examples that FIV cats can live with non-FIV cats just fine without transmitting the disease as it can only be transmitted through saliva in deep bite wounds. If the cats are neutered they have no territory to fight for. They do not fight at home if they are correctly introduced as well. I am very happy that I did not listen to the advice of the vet and now I have a very happy and playful new cat who lives in harmony with my other cats. I wish the vet would not give his opinion about something he does not know for sure. Hey if you don't know if IF Animal Shelter does not put down FIV-positive cats, please do not tell that they do to your clients. If you did not read recent research about FIV-positive cats and that they can live long long lives please do not advise to your clients to put them down. If you do not know that FIV-positive cats can live with other cats without transmitting the disease, please do not tell your clients that they cannot live with other cats. It is ok to tell that you do not know something for sure so that the people have the opportunity to make the correct choice. I despise people who lie and omit by choice especially if the life of animal is at stake.

What an amazing group of people! Every time we took our dog to see them, they showed her such patience and compassion. Regardless of how busy their day was, we always felt that they were focused on us and were willing to help however we needed. We had to say goodbye to our sweet dog yesterday and it was truly difficult. The staff was so wonderful with her and I have so much comfort in knowing she felt no pain and was happy until her last breath. It is hard to express how much their professionalism and unquestionable caring is helping me accept this change in our lives. Thank you for everything. I am very thankful that you were here to help us.

I immediately felt so welcomed when we walked in! My brand new puppy was so calm and distracted during shots (she didn’t seem to even feel it) and they were very conscious about our puppy staying away from areas that weren’t sanitized. They doted on her and us ;) They answered all of our questions and were beyond incredible ❤️

After hearing that they do not participate in helping with the feral and stray cat population here i will be sure to not take my littles there. If they can't spare the 30 min or so to help with the community problems i am sure they wouldn't have time for mine.

Didn't look at my cat's eyes or mouth or anything. Paid for an exam done by giggly school girls who didn't take me seriously and wrote me off. Not a legit veterinary clinic clearly. Was told I'd be called with stool sample results this morning, no call. Doubt they even process it.

I’ve gone to a lot of different vet clinics and I finally found one that I trust completely and enjoy going to. They are so good with my pup and remember him when we come in. Dr Peterson is so thorough and I have never left with unanswered questions or feeling confused or unsure about anything. I know my dog is not only in good hands, but is also loved and genuinely cared for at Skyline Animal Hospital.

Took an x-ray as requested and was very forthcoming with information I needed to make decisions regarding my cats care. I really appreciate that. I can't make informed decisions without that information.

I highly recommend Dr. Petersen for exceptional veterinary care. We initially visited for a limp in our 2-year-old Golden Retriever's front leg. Dr. P provided a comprehensive evaluation and treatment, including medication, which successfully resolved the issue. While diagnosing the limp, Dr. P simultaneously discovered a severe tooth decay issue in a difficult-to-see location. After resolving the limp, we focused on the dental problem. Dr. P's detailed consultation about anesthesia and the procedure itself put my concerns to rest. The dental cleaning and tooth extraction went smoothly. We appreciated the post-surgery call from Dr. P and the follow-up from the clinic staff, making us feel very well cared for.If your pet has limping or dental issues, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. P for their unmatched level of care and professionalism.Thank you, Dr. P and team, for taking excellent care of our fur baby, Bori.

Friendly amazing staff and vet. Pointed out a probable diagnosis me and my previous vet should have seen considering the dogs history. I'd reccommend them to anyone.

We drove 3 hours from Utah to bring our dog to Skyline for his dental. Dr. P and Skyline animal hospital staff were very friendly from start to finish. We had more time and contact with the doctor than I've had in a long time from other places, which was great! They took very good care of our dog and even discovered foxtails lurking in his toes. Their prices are very reasonable especially considering they are a specialist in dentistry. We WILL be traveling to Skyline for our dog's dental care for the foreseeable future. Only the best for our furry family member! Toshi says thank you Dr.P!

We travelled all the way from Jackson to bring our kitty Ginger to Skyline yesterday and it was worth every mile! We got a recommendation from a friend for Dr. Peterson and we're so happy we did. He is so kind and patient and took the time to sit with us and explain any detail we wanted about our girl's teeth, what would be involved in the procedure, and all the possible outcomes. The reception staff there was also so informative and sweet - we felt taken care of from the minute we walked in the door to when we picked her up to take her home. They even explained and helped walk me through the payment options they have - we're unfortunately not in a position to drop the total bill all at once, but they accept ScratchPay so we're able to pay it off with monthly installments. My sweet girl is so much happier today and her appetite and energy levels are so much higher - and we only expect her to continue to improve! Skyline even called to check on her today and make sure she's doing well. A HUGE thank you to Dr. Peterson and the entire staff at Skyline Animal Hospital for taking such incredible care of her - we'll be recommending Skyline Animal Hospital to anyone who'll listen!

If you have any reservation about taking your loved one(s) here, take a breath and consider whether you want the BEST possible care for your family, ALL of your questions answered, be provided with most up to date education/information, and no "sales-y" business pressure to make difficult decisions. If any of the above is important to you, this IS THE PLACE. Dr. P. is magnificent. If you don't have the luxury of being close by, his care is worth EVERY bit of the trip. If I could give 10 stars, I would. <3

I brought my Mom's little Dog in because he got very sick due to an abscessed tooth. They were very friendly and helpful but the reason I am giving them 2 stars is because they were not willing to help him without me paying a hefty price. He died because of the infection. I won't be going here again for any of my animals needs in the future.
