Contacted Lou Ann to rent the Teton Event Center for my daughter's reception. She was responsive, communicated well, and easy to work with. She sent the contract by email so we could pay and reserve the date for the reception. The price was fair. When the day arrived for our event she did a thorough walk-through with us. Lou Ann even helped when we were stuck with the photographer but the decorator needed in the building! Very clean, perfect size for our event, very nice modern building, very nice bathrooms, excellent lighting inside, tables were clean and sized well for the room. Bluetooth sound system was easy to use. Our experience was very positive and we would recommend the event center to anyone looking for a place for a reception, wedding, etc.

In July, I helped serve at a summer evening wedding reception there (not Jenny Ology's review). The size of the room was fine, but when you get a lot of people inside, watch out for the ventilation. We opened doors because the AC was just not accommodating the crowd that attended. No water is available, not even a drinking fountain, except in the bathroom sink. We knew this and were able to plan accordingly, bringing our own. This is an extra cost to the customer. At least 25 adults stayed after to do a thorough clean up as a gift to the bride and groom so that they could get their deposit back. That was a joke ! We took extra pains to wipe down, mop, vacuum, and even clean the parking lot and grounds with shop vacs. When I later asked if the wedding couple got their deposit back, I was told that they were charged for the smallest crumb, ding, and fingerprint in the place. The owners were picky to a fault, listing tiny complaints and charging big bucks about everything that was wrong with our cleanup job. I used to work as a janitor, I know what clean is!Their asking price looks affordable, so to attract customers. If you plan on celebrating with a party, don't count on getting your deposit back. They hook you in, but the bill quickly escalates when they steal your deposit. With all the deposit profits they make, a drinking fountain costs about $500. Add that to hiring a plumber to install it, and they could easily afford to have water available for thirsty, sweating guests; as well as pay to have their HVAC system upgraded.I recommend looking elsewhere before I would choose the Teton Event Center for anything again.

There is no water except in the bathroom sink- so if you want to have a drink of water, you have to bring it in. Water fountains would have gone a long way.The A/C is insufficient for a building that size. The vents are small and it keeps shutting off. You have to keep turning it back on, but it will never cool the place down when people are inside. You have to clean the place yourself or get fined. You have to scrub the toilets after your reception. Not ideal for a place you pay to rent. They will fine you if you use confetti outside unless you pick up each and every piece. We cleaned all the confetti up in front of the building and they still fined us. I’m sure the wind blew some off the roof the next day, but we cleaned the outside for an hour alone. No blinds in the front of the building add to the heat in the building with an insufficient A/C.We did like the screens we could use for a slideshow, but the mic didn’t work. Not very much parking for an event center and they stand guard over several spaces that stay empty all the time anyway. It’s not easy to train your event guests where they are not allowed to park.We had a crew of about 20 that spent 2 hours cleaning everything inside and out afterward and still did not get the whole deposit back. They claimed we left a ding in the wall (it wasn’t us) even though they didn’t walk through at midnight when we left and another person took the possession at midnight. We mopped the whole floor and apparently missed one tiny little dot of soda which they charged $65 cleaning fee. We cleaned all the windows, and they claimed one window has fingerprints- not from us- so another fee for cleaning the windows. They need to do a walkthrough at midnight when we leave. If you don’t heed my warning to avoid this place- be sure to video camera every square inch of the walls and floor and everything when you leave to show it wasn’t you.We were given possession of the building after lunch. We set up a few hours before midnight hit and the owner called this ‘abuse’ and charged 125 for it. That’s a really strong word and hefty fine. This is how they deal with customers. They used us as the cleaning crew and still kept the deposit- probably related to my truthful review. They look for every reason to keep the deposit. Too bad we cleaned so thoroughly for so long since he probably didn’t intend to give it back in the first place. It will save you a lot of cleaning, stress, repeated water filling up and delivering and overheated guests to just go somewhere else.

We attended a wedding reception here and it was a nice venue. I think the main room was a little small. There was not many in our wedding party but the room was very crowded with almost no room to walk around the tables when people were sitting. Otherwise a pretty decent place I think.

We had our daughters wedding reception at the event center. I didn't know it existed until we were looking up places to use. It's a bit of a hidden gem in IF. The cost was comparable to every other place in town...maybe even a little cheaper. They reception turned out beautifully! A lot of people commented on how nice the place was and they didn't know it was there so maybe we stirred up some more buisness?I definitely recommend The Teton Event Center as a place to use.

Went to a wedding reception here. It was nice and clean inside and seemed to have lots of options for different events. The atmosphere was pretty nice.
