Ridley's Family Markets is a family-owned grocery chain that started in 1984 in Payson, Utah, and later moved to Idaho, where the owners are from. Today, Ridley's operates multiple stores across several states, including locations in Blackfoot, Buhl, Eagle Mountain, Ely, Gooding, Highland, Hyrum, Jerome, Kemmerer, Kimberly, Kuna, Lolo's in Provo, McCall, Middleton, Midway, Morgan, Orem, Pinedale, Pocatello, Rupert, Tremonton, and Weiser. The company prides itself on being a hometown store that employs neighbors who serve neighbors, employing around 2000 community members. Customers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, describing the employees as super nice and the stores as well-stocked. However, there are concerns about the facilities, which many feel are outdated and in need of a remodel, especially as some locations experience growth. Some reviews mention that the Kimberly store's produce can be inconsistent, with moldy cauliflower, soft bell peppers, and overripe avocados. Prices are also noted as high, and some customers miss certain bakery items that have been discontinued, like bear claws. Despite these issues, shoppers value the store's convenience, quality goods, and the welcoming atmosphere created by the staff. Overall, Ridley's is viewed as a friendly, community-oriented grocery option, though many hope for improvements in its facilities and product offerings.
Local grocery store. Stuff goes out of stock quick but love going before they close because I don't have to deal with the hustle and bustle. Update, it's even busier! Hopefully the owners invest in the updates the store needs, it would probably draw more people!
