We called and set up a new account with them as we are renting our house and they told us that since we were new customers our first year our price would be $2.12 per gallon locked in for one year and every time we get filled up we have to call to get the price changed and now they are refusing to change the price we are only 9 months into our first year. Every time we get a bill it’s $4+ dollars a gallon and every time you call they say we will submit a request. It shouldn’t have to be requested we are locked in. Talking to our land lord to change to the locally owned propane company.

Your call center does not work. You charging $130+ for tank rental when it used to be $10 is ridiculous. Same old ugly need painted tanks. We have 8 tanks and use a lot of propane in the winter, just not enough per tank, I guess. I've tried on-line site 3 times and the message to fill the tank did not get through. You are the WORST business to deal with since you 'upgraded' your system. The local delivery is GREAT. The local office people are GREAT but you won't let us go through them any more. In other words, I am NOT happy with Amerigas! Please do not put this on the local people. It's the overall system that is hard to deal with.

Came home recently to find an electronic device on my propane tank to measure percent of propane in the tank. It was put on the wrong tank. I have two propane tanks, one 500 gallon and one 250 gallon. It was put on the smaller tank which is only used for the generator and only gets topped off every 23 years.

The customer service has always been good but Amerigas charges 70 Cents more per gallon than our local provider as well as $25 a month in additional fees. I'm not happy with the cost. I plan on changing providers.

Called everyday for last 2 weeks and every other day last month to get our tank filled. Every fill date was missed or not even scheduled even though on the call they said it was. Now the roads are snowy and Im almost out of propane. Getting someone else as soon as possible.

The service is prompt and polite. The delivery of the tank and set-up went great. When I need refills it comes quickly and the price is good.The only things I do not like is the new answering service and I can’t call the local office anymore.Also, I can’t get a bill until AFTER I’m already late for my payment.Please send me a bill and a phone number that gets me to a human in Idaho!

The driver, Mike, from Kooskia (Idaho) was absolutely fantastic as was Sharron at the local office. It is frustrating that you can’t call in to a local office though- you end up talking to a call center back East.

I called AmeriGas for current gas prices and possible tank swap. After navigating their frustrating automated answering system and being transferred twice to out of country call centers I finally spoke with a native English speaker who needed lots of personal contact info before he could quote a per gallon propane price... I would rather pay more for gas with someone else than deal with AG if this is their customer service process.

Dear Amerigas. Your new “easier” system is not. I’ve spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to schedule an order and the operator could not get it to process. All my information was correct. I now have to wait on a call back. Please bring back the old system. It would have taken less than five minutes that way.
