“I took my deer into Meridian Meat Packers for processing on October 16 and picked it up the following week. I was impressed with the helpful attitude of this family run business and their interest in processing my deer with cuts specifically as I requested. The packaging was tight and properly labeled. As expected, the venison is excellent!I was also invited to observe if I wanted to watch the processing. Since I had been referred by friends who have high praise for Meridian Meat Packers I passed on the invite. Also , most years I would process my own deer-- now I'm very satisfied with Meridian Meat Packers.I'm now hoping for success filling my elk tag and again having this family take care of the processing.”
“Meat really is good, packaging nice-however, not good enough to make up for terrible shipping. Consistently arrived late(I will no longer order it after the most recent fiasco). I have ordered through Goldbelly. This last order the meat was sent from Tracey CA (after sitting in Tracey 2 days) to Henderson, CO. I live in Utah. When it finally got here, completely thawed and downright warm...no ice at all. Blood in traveling bag. While Goldbelly refunded, after so many late arrivals it didn't feel right. So I would warn that this vendor, SRF, has difficulty with their shipping. Sad, as the meat tastes good.”

“This was quite the experience. Their location, well South of Boise on Pleasant Valley road. The last 1/4 mile on dirt. There is no store, just a person sitting in her car. DO not show up before 4pm. There are lots of signs, none of which apply to their retail sales.The meat products were packaged and flash frozen. And expensive. $18 per pound. Meat is super lean protein. The taste was not unique.”
