“Such a lovely place! We really love this place.
There's a center, all (mostly) glass building that has an exceptional coffee place! The baristas there are super friendly! That's important! The taco place in there serves great food! Haven't tried anything else there, yet! The fountains are nice, especially at Christmas with the ice skating rink.”
“This little strip-mall has some great hangout spots, like Hooligans, Alchemist Coffee, and a Flying Pie. However, because it's right at the corner of a well-traveled intersection with a Fred Meyer across the street, an Albertsons across the other street, and a Wal-Greens on the diagonal corner, it can sometimes be tricky to enter or exit the parking lot depending on where you're coming from or going to. Additionally, since all the parking is shared among all the businesses in the strip (with several of them being restaurants) it can sometimes be a challenge to find parking depending on the day and time you're here.”
“Krispy creme was a excellent place for a glazed doughnut or a doughnut of your choice! FedEx is a grand place to ship from: like other competing Co.'s! Wendy's still serves great "(Square)" Grilled Beef hamburgers! Denny's serves Pricey platers from: egg's-steaks! [ But other place/business's i have yet 2 visit]”
“I remember vividly my first time at the Boise Spectrum. It was the late 90's. I watched the Titanic. It was packed with so many people. I had a Pronto Pup with a prickly pear lemonade. My friends and I were checking out all the boys. It will forever be one of my favorite core memories.
You came here on the weekends to watch the latest movies. You hung out at Game World and played video games for hours, wasting your money for tickets to get cheap prizes. You drank hot chocolate at Moxie Jave whole you were waiting for your ride to show up. It was the ultimate hot spot!
But, with time and the direction of growth heading towards Meridian, this venue has really slowed down. It was sad at one point, seeing how many businesses left this venue and moved on. Movie Java ended up turning into another coffee shop. That space is now taken over but completely different business now. CK Hawaiian is gone. It truly is sad to see a part of my youth slowly disappear.
I did attend hair school in this complex in 2015. That was the first time I was in this area again. They remodeled the venue. Added umbrellas and more seating. A lot of upgrades were made and it was looking really fresh. Thursday thunder was introduced on Thursdays which was a great way to get people here. Live music, restaurants selling food and vendors to check out. It was a fun way to hang out and be in the sun.
I hope that the local businesses in this venue stay put. The pizza joint is so good! I survived hair school eating pizza for lunch. The Creperie has the best Nutella and banana crepes. Be Thai pushes out such good Thai food. I have seen too many local businesses leave this venue and we need to support them so that they can stay. I hope more adventures bring me into this area so I have a reason to be here. I want to be able to create more core memories at this venue now and in the future.”
“I went to the thrift store looking for easels or something to display my diamond paintings on. I found a couple things that would work for me. They have some good stuff there and most is reasonably priced. I will go back.”
“I went to Fred Meyer's to get the Vernors ginger ale, and they didn't have it, I can have him order it but that won't work for us since Boise was a long drive for us!! I did get the Wendy's chili!! Yippee, the staff was great 5 gold stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
“I only went here to go to build a bear but the staff were very kindAnd it was a very nice experience also for some reason I stayed there for over 20 minutes and (I got there 2 mins before closing ?) it seemingly didn't close until I got out because most of the stores weren't closed but anyway, yes it was a very nice experience”
“I would just like to say I had a wonderful experience. It’s a wonderful Store The staff is kind and courteous and very helpful. and I would recommend the story to anybody in the area”
