“My husband and I stayed at the Alpaca Inn this July for our anniversary, and although we were only there for one night, we had a wonderful experience.

The owners were incredibly accommodating and let us check in early, which ended up being a lifesaver. After tubing down the river in 100-degree weather, I ended up with a migraine from the heat and dehydration. Walking into our room with its wonderfully cold air conditioning was exactly what I needed. The room itself was cozy and rustic, with everything we needed most: a comfortable place to relax, a clean bathroom, and a bed.

We also couldn't resist picking up some adorable alpaca stuffed animals, socks, and a postcard from their charming little gift shop. They even had alpacas for sale, which was very tempting! If we ever have more land, I'll definitely know where to get one.

Melissa was incredibly welcoming and kind throughout our stay. She made check-in and check-out easy and was always quick to help with anything we needed.

The only minor downsides (and certainly not dealbreakers) were that the wooden patio planks outside were a bit creaky, and the spring mattress could have been a little more comfortable.

Overall, thank you for the wonderful stay! We'd happily stay at the Alpaca Inn again and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, unique place to stay.”

“We’ve stayed at Lava Hillside Suites & Rooftop Bar several times now, and we absolutely love this place. It’s family-owned and operated, and you can really see the hard work and pride that goes into everything.
The rooms are spacious, well thought out, and great whether you’re traveling solo or with company. The rooftop bar has a great atmosphere and is always a highlight.
Shoutout to Cody behind the bar, he’s always friendly, welcoming, and a familiar face every time we visit. We also had a chance to meet the owners and their family, hardworking people who clearly care about their business. Cody, one of the owners I met the night we checked in, took great care of us and gave us a fantastic rate, which we really appreciate.
As a family-owned and operated business ourselves, we have a lot of respect for what they’re building here, it shows.
