I usually like AutoZone usually have no trouble getting what I need there but the other day I went in for a steering gearbox for my old truck and was told $700 was but I have to pay even though O'Reilly's advertising online $180 something dollars for a reman steering your box after waiting I don't know 15 minutes for somebody to even come up and ask me if I needed help he told me $700 with the cheapest he can get me one even though I can order through them online for $188 for remanufactured and that had to find out for myself even though that kid was staring at a computer screen that belonged to go right he's Auto Parts and when I asked him about remanufactured Parts he didn't have any he couldn't get them they don't so I can only translate that as he had better things to do than to look things up for me in the store even though I had $300 in my pocket to buy one but I did not have $700 to buy a brand new one when it's an old truck let's face it hey brand new one would be nice but it's an old truck everything I buy for three men usually it's not a fixer upper kind of truck but it is a good driver when it can steer and thanks for that kid I only had to order it my damn self but also had to drive it home with that same bad gearbox thanks kid

Obviously a majority of these poor reviews are about the same rude manager. And I know who they’re referring to because I had similar experience, just didn’t post nothing. And lookie look AUTOZONE Corp does NOTHING To address it besides say “we apologize, and please contact such n such, we appreciate your business” lmao. Wooowwww. Orchards 1 is better than bottom 21st 1 IMO. Unfortunately, shouldn’t have managers who openly treat employees like this and be stuck up to customers!! Fuuuuggggnnnnnnnn fixxxit auto zone!!! Nobody is going to the other auto places so fix it. Sooo yeah. As I keep reading the autobots just respond with same response. Lewiston not very big, and oreillys sucks but customer service is KEY!!! Y’all don’t care mr corporate

I ordered a part off the internet for my car and I needed a front axle hub but did not see that it was for the rear instead. So when i returned to exchange it for the front part the worker made sure to turn the screen towards me to point out that on his screen it clearly shows rear part as if to make me feel stupid. No luck the mobile web app is different from what their screen shows. Was spoken to the entire time like I was a child who knows nothing. The part I needed was $6 more which had cash for but instead of doing the exchange in one transaction and paying the difference he refunded the entire amount to my card (which on a sunday it takes days to actually receive the credit) then did a separate transaction for the new part. I don't know if that is the only way they can do it or what, but it can be a major inconvenience waiting for days for $126.00. I was the only customer in the store and treated like it was a major inconvenience to provide me service. Not impressed at all.
