Zero stars !!!!!! By far the worse bank or credit union to do business with I will be contacting the attorney general, Idaho finance department, NCUA, ACLU as well as the fair trades commission (FTC). This place is garbage, for example they have crazy $25 fees which when other banks mess up they refuse to work with you when they pull 4 transactions in 4 seconds charging me $100 in fees for running out of money out or paying for said item which was $28-35-45-50. ( Claimed if they were closer to $25 they would maybe take one off ??? what a joke they are all close to $25 when money wasn't even taken out just tried to charge is all.. Wake up america !!! this fractional reserve banking system has failed us!! They operating illegally under our noses. They also deny loans illegally to people who have the credit, trust fund with hundreds of thousands in, paid back 15-17k in loans over 10+ years by my self and never missed a payment not one!!!!! They are predators acting like good ol banking friends ruining our country. I hope they get what's coming to them

Cannot contact anyone by phone on here. Cannot access my account on line. Very frustrated. No one has called me back even though I sent a texts. Extremely un happy right now with bank.

The manager needs to call their phone number and see how long they have to sit on hold before somebody answers the phone. I finally gave up and this has happened more than once. This is unacceptable for a business.

Absolutely horrible experience. On Aug 2, I opened an account online to transfer a meaningful amount of money to create a CD at 7.23%. Their system crashed and could not get my account officially established until Aug 9, even though telling me the account would be established "by tomorrow" when I checked in.Well, evidently banking management arbitrarily canceled the CD offer on Aug 8 and now I have money transfers in limbo because of this bank's policies and unwillingness to honor its previously stated comittments.Let this be a lesson to anyone who wants to establish a banking relationship and invest within it. They don't care about you and willingly lie along the way to keep you around. Now I have to go through another manual process to unravel this banking relationship, and they have all my personal details. Scary.Learn from my mistake and don't let any of your nest egg be held hostage by this institution.

Thank you so much for NOT having artificial intelligence (AI) answer the phone! :) I would much rather be on hold waiting for a real person, than to try to get through an AI phone maze. AI is horrible customer service!!!

FYI everyone. LCCU will not close your account over the phone when paying off a loan, but will take your payment in full for paying the loan off. Seems to be a double standard that only works in their/for benefit. For those who can't go to Lewiston during the week to close your account because you live too far away and work fulltime during the week, they will steal your membership fees and not tell you this is about to happen in writing. It will just suddenly show up on your statement that they send out to you that they stolen it and call it 'inactive fees'. No wonder they can remodel their buildings. It may be a small amount they steal from you, but if they do it to everyone, it adds up. Be aware. I don't recommend getting a loan or any other business through them if you live out of the area and cannot meet them in person.
