“The Idaho State Liquor Store in downtown Lewiston is one of the two state-operated liquor stores serving the area, and it has always been a reliable place to shop.

Idaho’s liquor system is a little different from some neighboring states because distilled spirits are sold through state-run stores rather than regular grocery stores. Once you know the system, though, it’s straightforward, and this location does a great job serving the community.

The store is clean, well organized, and consistently well stocked. I’ve always been able to find what I was looking for, and the selection is better than many people might expect.

As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series, I spend a lot of time traveling between states, so I notice the little differences in how places operate. Idaho’s state liquor stores are one of those unique local quirks.

Parking is easy, the location is accessible, and the layout makes it simple to get in and out without any hassle.

The staff has always been friendly and helpful during my visits, and the store itself is maintained to a very high standard. Everything feels organized, professional, and easy to browse.

Funny enough, while working on the Maui Desire Romance Series, I’ve come to appreciate businesses that simply do their job well. This is one of those places that consistently delivers a good customer experience.

“I love this shop! Only one I’ll go to for any vape. The workers are amazing the owners are family oriented. When food (snacks) went expired around Christmas they put them outside for free and me and my kiddo got some. The alto and the geek bars are sold at good prices. 10/10 will always come here only downside is parking if there is a big truck it’s hard to get out so def park on the side. But other than that this place is the best in the lcv! And the workers alone are always nice and happy when you come in! Even when they are slammed busy”
