The food was good, the place wasn't very busy but it took a while to be seated, waited about 10 minutes. There were 6 of us, and they crammed us at a corner table instead of a table of the same size in the open. We had a 1 year old with us, and we didn't get offered a high chair. A woman came in and saw people she knew and screamed very loudly 3 times, very distracting when you're trying to talk and be with family.

Really great place to sit at the bar have some cocktails and dinner. So many things to look at. Bartenders are friendly and the locals are so much fun to talk to. They have a huge menu with anything you’d like. Huge cocktail selection and the list of great things here go on and on!

So, when it comes to the Reuben sandwich, I'm an amateur connoisseur. The three things restaurants often get wrong (sometimes all at once!) is 1-soggy bread from 'kraut juice (usually the bottom piece of bread), 2-over toasted/grilled, crouton-like bread that leaves the roof of my mouth shredded and raw for the rest of the day, and 3-weak, thin sliced corned beef. Lardo did not have soggy bread. Not sure if they drain the 'kraut or what, but the marble rye texture was just right and the roof of my mouth left in satisfactory condition. And the corned beef was the kind that was obviously not out of a thin-slice deli aisle, but rather taken off of a big chunk of corned beef brisket. And it seemed they shredded it and it mingled with the 'kraut perfectly. Best Reuben I've had in 10 years at least. Oh and the service was fast and very friendly (but not annoyingly friendly), and my son loved the Rib Eye, and the cheddar beer soup was really good. Thanks, Lardo!

Long time restaurant in town. Service and food has drastically declined. 2 out 2 dishes ordered are messed up! Loaded potato skins are fried to a crisp. Completely wrong chicken sandwich received than ordered. Very disappointed.

This place was an awesome stop on our trip. Cozy and warm with a ton of stuff on the walls to see. Wood burning stove right when you walk in. Nice workers and amazing food. A must stop if you're in the area. It is a saloon but the food is 10/10 "luxury" good luck!!!!

Very disappointed in this place. Ordered potato skins and they came burnt and over cooked. The waitress noticed it and took it back. Then they cut off the burnt ends, added more toppings and brought it back. Wow! Mind blown. The nerve. Won't be back.

Service sucks. Can't get anyone to wait on you. Went to the bar to order, and she wouldn't take it and said wait for the waitress. Waited 20 minutes and left!

Less than enthusiastic service from the middle aged Gill. For the price, you would expect the food not to be mediocre either.Would never come back here.

People that work there were great very nice and helpful. I got a chicken Caesar salad and 1/2 order of potato skins. Salad was excellent which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. However was really disappointed in the potato skins. Overcooked, crunchy, stuck on the paper with overcooked melted cheese. Not edible at all. I’m glad I only got 1/2 an order. Disappointed to say the least for my first experience.

We like to go to Lardos whenever we're in McCall, but drinks prices are ridiculous! Last time they charged us $11 for a House Wine, $15 Long Island! Shore Lodge across the street have more reasonable prices....just saying..
