This thrift store was disorganized and messy with a terrible layout. To make things worse, they consider themselves a humane society yet the cats that they have for sale INSIDE THE LITERAL THRIFT STORE are in terrible conditions. My heart was broken to see the place the cats were in and the room. I didn't even know when I walked in that it was a humane society. I thought it was just a thrift store. Didn't even get the "mcpaws" pun. My friend said "hey look there's cats in here" knowing I love cats. I thought she meant a room dedicated to cat themed thrift items. To my HORROR, I walked in to a very hot room with a fan blowing around. Cats with no beds. Just a blanket in each cage. Multiple cats to one cage. Cats looking sick. One cat had red infectious eyes. Another cat in another cage had green snot and the snot was all over another cats stomach. It was absolutely disgusting and saddening. One of the cages was LEAKING WATER. I have zero respect for this shop. I plan to call the police on the none emergency line for animal abuse on this society. These were some of the worst conditions I'd ever seen cats being held in. Their information cards were also not honest about what was going on with each cat. No notes on sick cats although they clearly were. Absolutely deplorable careless employees with no knowledge or respect or care for these poor cats. How terrifying to have them in a side room where they see all these strangers, BREATHING IN THRIFT STORE SHIT DUST ALL DAY. They are all absolutely getting sick from this place. I could go on and on. I hope you get the idea and/or can act on it as well to stop this facade.

This is such a great thrift store with a fabulous variety of items at reasonable prices. We stopped in while in town and were pleasantly surprised!

It’s an ok thrift store. Some of the prices are ridiculous but we LOVE that they have animals there to be rescued. We shop to support that cause.

Best part of this thrift store is the “Cat Library”!!! Cannot begin to express my joy when I found out this little nook on the right inside the store existed!!! There’s volunteers there that open up cages of adoptable kitties! Hold them as long as you want and try REALLY hard not to take one home!!!

Pretty decent thrift store.ive found some really nice things here. -Clean, some nice brands, etc. The drawback for me though is paying between $20 & $40 for one item used clothing. Seems the prices here are way high for donated goods. I could be wrong. Only been there 4 or 5 times.

We love going to McPaws thrift store and always make a point to go when we are in town. One memorable Christmas, we, and all of our adult children and grandchildren stayed in McCall. I was able to buy a Christmas mug for everyone for less than a dollar apiece! Imagine my disappointment to find out the store is no longer open Saturdays! We are in town for the weekend and I was looking forward to going! I understand staff shortages are everywhere these days but could you have limited hours on Saturday? Or maybe be closed Sunday and Monday? Visitors are usually here on weekends.
