Amazing! We absolutely loved it. Recommend the shrimp scampi appetizer and they know how to make a killer martini!

Well, I was really looking forward to our meal, as we really enjoyed Rupert's 3 yrs ago. Unfortunately, it was fair at best. Brussel sprouts OK, good flavor but undercooked. The half chicken was tasty, well cooked and good sauce. The elk meatloaf was tasty. The halibut special was unimpressive and all 3 we ordered were overcooked. The one thing you cannot do with halibut is overcook it. Service was decent.

We had been to Rupert's a couple years back and really enjoyed it. Tonite, very fair at best. Sprouts were under cooked. Elk meatloaf and half chicken were tasty. All 3 halibut entrees over cooked, the one thing you can't do with Halibut.

One of 2 high end restaurants in McCall. Ruperts is very popular with outstanding food and a great view of Payette Lake. Our favorite place to eat in McCall.

Had an early dinner. Well paced serving. Great food. Attentive service. The salmon was cooked to perfection as were the asparagus. The chicken dish with a mild mustard cream sauce was also excellent. A perfect dining experience

Great selection of cocktails and food, I ordered the Ribeye and it's was amazing. Their Brussel sprouts were so tasty we mopped up the sauce with a basket of sourdough bread. The service was fantastic and the restaurant was very clean and nice.

First of all, our server (Hannah I believe) was amazing, attentive and friendly. We had a party of 7 and half the people liked (not loved) their meal. The people that liked theirs had ordered the Cesar salad, Ramen bowl and elk meatloaf. The people that hated theirs ordered the steak and the fish. Unfortunately the two steaks were EXTREMELY undercooked as was the fish, the polenta was presented in weird fried cakes and a steak drenched in a gravy-like sauce which completely hid the cut and quality of the steak. I'd give it another try but be specific about sauces and temperature of steak.

Absolutely a 10/10 experience at Rupert's, every time. We always come here when we are in McCall. This time we decided to take our kiddos with us and it was fantastic. Their kids menu has smaller portions of steak, fish or pasta. We are used to chicken strips, Mac and cheese, etc. type options so this quality and selection is something you don't see on a kid's menu often (our kids were so excited about this). The ambiance is relaxing, clean and the service is always warm and welcoming. Everything the chef made was terrific, but we especially enjoyed the ribeye special and beet salad. If you enjoy wine or a quality cocktail be sure to ask Chris for a recommendation because his suggestions are always awesome!

We love Rupert's, both the restaurant and bar. It has become our “go to place” in McCall. The drinks are great and although the menu is limited it is always delicious and awesome experience. Malcolm

Wonderful evening at Rupert's in the Hotel McCall. We had a table with a great view of the lake. Service and food were both exceptional. I had the elk meatloaf and my husband had the Thai curry seafood. Both were very good. Make reservations in advance as they fill up quickly. We think it's one of the nicest places to eat in McCall. Wonderful ambience.

20 min there and no service. Maybe 4 tables seated when I got there….more employees than guests. Spoke to a manager that couldn’t even look up and could careless. My normal waiter witnessed and even apologized for the managers time on my way out out the door. Have never been treated like that there before.

Made reservations well in advance for Valentine's Day - very excited. Didn't realize set menu for the day - no big deal. Got seated at our time slot - server was pleasant. Shared the starter Crab cakes - very flavorful - luke warm. Each had the beet salad, a lot of beats, very tiny smear of promised goat cheese- underwelming . We had the kobe beef entree - I ordered medium well, my husband medium, both came tough, fatty and chewy - potato au gratin was so au boring, asparagus perfectly cooked - all covered in some kind of brown, salty goo, that looked like a Sherwin Williams gel stain. Finally finished with chocolate tart - delicious. The ambience of Rupert's is lovely - however, there was some loud mouth 2 tables over that couldn't stop talking about Malibu. We love going to dinner in our hometown. We just don't understand at this level the consistent inconsistency.

The Van Lith rib eye, was was prepared perfectly. The red smashed potatoes was a great addition along with the perfectly cooked vegetables. My husband had the Sole special and cannot stop talking about how wonderful that whole dish tasted. Hoping it will become a regular in the menu.

Very loud. Less than two feet between our table and the one next to ours. We couldn't event speak to one another. Waitress barely came by, never refilled our drinks, food was subpar for the price. Much better places in town to get good food for the same price or less. Just disappointed in the experience.

A must stop while in McCall. We had a few birthdays this month to celebrate, so why not do it at Ruperts. Also, on Friday night they do some spectacular fish dishes. Steak and wine were excellent as well. The staff is very friendly, views of the lake are special, a great dining experience.
