Service was slow but the restaurant was understaffed so that was understandable. The spinach artichoke dip was amazing but took forever to get.The Caesar salad had no flavor, croutons were stale and mushy.Rainbow trout was decent but a bit too salty, my side of rice was flavorless. The veggies looked unappetizing. My wife had the salmon. It was very mediocre. Not worth the price or wait.

The clam chowder made me and my friend sick as hell. The greeting staff was rude when we came in initially and then the servers were good. TOOK FOREVER TO GET OUR FOOD. Our whole crew said the food was not good. I will never go back and neither will the rest of us- seven total.

First off, the service was fine. None of the rest of this post has to do with service.1. Drinks: Wife ordered an Italian wine that frankly tasted like it had been watered down. (Likely not the restaurants fault but just be aware). I had beer and that was fine.2. Bread was adequate3. Appetizer: Breaded and Pan Fried Oysters: these were burnt. Clam chowder tasted like it came from a can and had no seasoning.4. I had the BBQ pork shank. Pork was tender and good but the sauce tasted like watered down Sweet Baby Rays. Mashed potatoes were bad, tasted like potatoes with sugar and not other flavors, including butter.5. Wife had the lamb and trout. There is no way to put this lightly. Worst Trout either of us have ever had, including making Costco trout in our own kitchen. Slightly burnt and no flavor other than slightly burnt fish. Her lamb was cooked well but also was strangely bland.6. Atmosphere: We were near the kitchen and someone kept burning things, filling the area with smoke. Very VERY loud group came in basically forcing everyone else to talk over them. Not entirely the restaurants fault, but it did further sour the whole experience. This place is ranked #2 on Trip Advisor and we were shocked at how bad the food was. Crazy to strike out on everything but bread and beer. I would give it more stars because the service was good, but I can't get past the fact that at $60 a person for the night with tip, the food was so bad.

We found Steamers while shopping downtown McCall. It was almost 5 o’clock on Valentine’s Day so we decided to give it shot on getting a table right when they opened. Not only did they fit us in but they were kind and hospitable. The food was delicious and our picky children even enjoyed everything! We will definitely be back if we’re ever in the area again.

Absolute trash with out a doubt tried to give it a chance and it was horrible the service was slow and completely ridiculous the three people that were working there work ridiculously spicy when trying to pay my tab threatens to call the cop since they couldn’t keep there tables straight sitting there for 2 whole hours if not more just waiting for any kind of food or service in general

We have been coming to steamers for many years and it has been a favorite. That all changed today. It was not very busy for dinner. Service was really slow. Not a single hostess or wait staff gave us eye contact or pleasantries. The salads came before the appetizer. The scampi was overcooked and had 5 times the garlic needed. The rice was dry and flavorless. My husbands potato’s tasted like yesterday’s batch. Sorry steamers… we will not be back.

Of all the visits to McCall, we have not eaten here. The wait was half an hour for a party of 5 and 1 child. Feels more like a European eatery with course meals rather than timed meal placement. They did forget 1 entry order. However, the bison steak was delicious!!! Seafood all around for everyone else. Lamb, bison and fish had good flavor. After a two hour meal we all left satisfied.Parking: May need to patk down a side street as tge frontage parking is always full.Wheelchair accessibility: ? entry and room at the table to remove a chair ? to sit.

The service and food were excellent as always. The consistency always brings us here. The appetizers are exceptional.

A little noisey from a loud large crowd when we arrived but much better after they left. Food was excellent.

My husband and I were very disappointed with the amount of money we spent on food that was not good at all. The fish had absolutely no flavor, and the steak was not worth $43. I also got a ceaser salad and the salad had no flavor either. We spent right at $100 for our dinner. If you want to go to a nice restaurant and are willing to spend $100 for your dinner this is not the place to go.

Very good food! I selected $10-20 per person...that was on 50% off night so might spend a little more on other nights...still worth going if in

Servers were friendly and helpful. I only gave 4 stars because we had a couple of steaks and they were a bit over the medium mark, however they were still very tasty. One of us had chicken and the rest of us had a variety of steaks. We had bread pudding for dessert amd it was also delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and we will definitely be back.
