Spectacular views of the Snake River Canyon, two nice compost toilets at the entrance, informative signage. Best view of the Snake within an hour drive of Boise!

I love visiting that spot. It was quite windy and chilling but still I came home invigorated from the walk and view. There were some red tailed hawks circling overhead.

Camped here overnight. There is only a wide spot in the parking lot in which to camp, which is less than ideal. I felt in-the-way and somewhat exposed. Strangely, someone arrived at 3:00 a.m. and walked the trail with flashlights. I assume that they were checking out the Snake River overlook by moonlight, but it was weird not knowing why people were wandering around late at night. I awoke to early morning gunfire from target shooters who abound in the Birds of Prey conservation area. This is really more of a day use area with a nice trail...we simply got caught without a good alternative and had to make it work for an overnight stop, and it did work, so thanks BLM.There are vault toilets, which were clean. I would prefer to camp at Swan Falls dam about 5 miles up the road (if there was room) in the future.

Such a peaceful and beautiful place. I saw so many hawks and falcons gliding by the cliffs. It was quiet and still. Breath taking views!

From this point you can see the past and history of Idaho. Bring binoculars for not only the birds of prey but yþtry to find the pioneer areas!

Beautiful place to go ride. You can ride from Swan Falls (nice big new horse trailer parking lot) to Celebration Park.

Gorgeous views and plenty of birds to watch from the viewpoint. Lots of tiny bugs in mid January, but amazing skies!

Beautiful views with an easy walk and year round toilets. Handicap access as well but not accessible in snow.

The best spot for viewing raptors in the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area is Dedication Point, perched on the rim of the river’s deep canyon.A number of factors combine to make this such a fruitful place to spot wildlife, from the thermal updrafts to the abundance of prey for the falcons and golden eagles that nest in the cliff face.Passerine birds often spotted from this vantage point include Say’s phoebes, white-throated swifts, cliff swallows and rock and canyon wrens.Interpretive signs will help you identify species, and there’s a covered cabana for education programs. Wildlife watching aside, Dedication Point is a magnificent location with jaw-dropping views 400 feet above the river.

Beautiful view looking over the snake river canyon. Tiny trail of to the left that takes you down to the water but it is very narrow amd follows the edge of the cliff so be careful. You can often see birds of prey such as hawks and eagles flying overhead. No water or bathroom but there are benches.

After a short walk there is an absolutely amazing view of the Snake River canyon. Worth driving from Boise to see it. After visiting here, drive on to the Swan Falls Dam and you can drive at the bottom of the canyon directly below the viewpoint here.

Amazing view of the canyon and river. The loop trail is 0.5 miles to get to the overlook and back, and there are some signs along the way explaining the types of birds in the area, including which time of year you'll expect to see them. There's another trail you can take to get a higher vantage point as well, though I didn't have a chance to check it out.

Beautiful views, lots of bunnies everywhere, randomly crossing the street. Plenty of places to camp as well.
