Deceptive offers. They offered a $76 rib eye filet if you spent $200+ Mothers Day weekend. I increased my order to pass $200. I was not getting this because I claimed a $25 new customer email sign up offer. No fine print that I could find but apparently you get only one offer. Site never said you had a special offer code to get this. Was assumed that if it was greater than $200 it would ship to you. Escalated with cust service but no help. If it was spelled out anywhere that you could have a $76 piece of meat or $25 which would you choose. Firm is like the old Sears, seems you never want to pay retail cause there be a sale (with a catch?) tomorrow.

I always hate leaving a single star when writing a review. However, I believe in honesty and one star is all I can muster for my experience with SRF. I can't comment on the quality of their products as my order was never put through due to the worst customer service experience I've ever received. It all revolves around my desire to get a rib eye steak. The short story is they told me their fulfillment center who "hand pick" aged steaks can't tell the difference between a loin or chuck end steak. To me, they are the professionals (at least that was my original understanding) and their butchers who cut the primal section into steaks should know from which end they came. Anyhow, I'll not be buying any products from this business after receiving such terrible service. Truth....

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY! I purchased an 18 pound gold grade Wagyu brisket. When it arrived there was an extremely large (unacceptable for meat that is touted as outstanding) running through the center of the brisket. It also had an overly large fat cap. I immediately called their customer service. After 14 minutes in hold I connected with a rep. I explained the issue to him and he asked me to send them pictures showing the fat in the brisket as well as the cap so their inspector could evaluate it. I sent them 5 pictures within 15 minutes and received an email reply telling me they would get back to me within 24-48 hours. After waiting 72 hours and hearing nothing from them I called their customer service again. The automated system said my time on hold would be 2 minutes. 17 minutes later a rep answered the call. I explained to her what was going on and she put me on hold to look into the issue. She came back on and initially stated she couldn't find the email I sent or the pictures. I then told her I had a reply verifying what I had sent she miraculously found it and then put me in hold again. After 3-4 minutes she came back on and apologized that they had not gotten back to me but they were very busy with the Holiday season. I told herthat their understaffing and increase in business were their problems not mine and had no bearing on the issue I was experiencing. She then said they wanted me to thaw the brisket and send the additional pictures at that time. I told her I was not going to do that and that I would contact AMEX and dispute the charge based on the poor quality of the brisket I had received. She immediately told me they were issuing me a full refund. Amazing that after threatening to let AMEX know what I was experiencing they give the refund. I went to their website, opened my account and wrote a review outlining what I had experienced and the outcome. Three hours later I receive an email from one of their quality control reps apologizing and stating she would like to talk about the incident as their company is very concerned with quality and taking care of their customers. I responding telling her based on my experience there was nothing would could discuss that would change my opinion but I appreciated her reaching out. I told her they need to reevaluate their customer service procedures and hire more stringent quality control inspectors to avoid problems such as this. I received a reply apologizing again and wishing me Happy Holidays. Also the review I wrote on there website was nerved posted, seems they only post the reviews that support and praise them which really proves how unethical they are. There are other reputable Wagyu purveyors available to get quality product from. Snake River Farms is not a company that cares about customers or quality product.

Sent out by Silver River Farm, even though it was apparent that it had a large amount of fat. No reputable company would accept this from their supplier, let alone pass it off to a customer. Customer service is useless, just don't care!

After hearing such good things about snake River Farms, a combination of poor customer service, a delivery mishap, and underwhelming product quality I cannot recommend this to anybody who is serious about high-quality beef products. Of the three discrepancies, the most disappointing aspect was the poor customer service. They don't have a number that you can call, the chat feature on the website doesn't work very well and usually just is an auto bot pointing you to a Self help article, and they don't get back to you for 24 hours at a minimum. Don't be fooled... This is not a premium or luxury product!

Meat really is good, packaging nice-however, not good enough to make up for terrible shipping. Consistently arrived late(I will no longer order it after the most recent fiasco). I have ordered through Goldbelly. This last order the meat was sent from Tracey CA (after sitting in Tracey 2 days) to Henderson, CO. I live in Utah. When it finally got here, completely thawed and downright warm...no ice at all. Blood in traveling bag. While Goldbelly refunded, after so many late arrivals it didn't feel right. So I would warn that this vendor, SRF, has difficulty with their shipping. Sad, as the meat tastes good.

Snake River Farms purveyors of American Wagyu beef and Kurobuta pork, it doesn't get any better than this in my opinion. After grilling my first 35.84 ounce Prime Cowboy Steak there's no turning back for me. A good steak over charcoal and pecan wood is delicious, cooking a prime steak from Double R Ranch using the same method is absolutely amazing, it's hands down the best steak to ever come off my grill, especially when it's pulled at 125 degrees and left to rest. Steak of this size and quality can be challenging, but it can be managed with the proper gear so don't forget the meat thermometer and use patience no matter how tempted you are don't rush the process. This company has been doing it right for a long time and I totally trust their products - the selections are amazing and the customer service is exceptional. At this point I've only tried the beef but the pork is equally enticing so I'd expect to experience this in the near future. Buying in quantities earns you discounts but even at full price the value is there, although the box deals make the most sense. They have a very informative website and they offer free catalogs if you want to learn more about these guys...
