If I could give less stars I would. Today has been an awful experience and here in idaho the temperatures been in the teens in F°, sitting out in the cold since 8:30 this morning waiting for AAA to come out. Three different times they had to re verify my information because they kept changing the time on me.
First they called and told me I am next in line around 10:30am, then the time got pushed out hours. So I call them and they said that it got busy.
AFTER I got a new technician they were on the way, I got a link and was tracking them, then out of the blue it said “Thanks for working with us” and the link stopped working. Therefore I called again to see what happened, the lady told me that the tech claimed to call us and said we didn’t need help anymore. No one even tried calling me!…
Im so upset I had my boyfriend come and get me and AAA keeps making it seem like its urgent that someone will be here but yet I have been here for 5 hours later and just now got a call from the latest tech.
He said they just gave him the request 7 MINUTES AGO! It is 1:16 PM. I have been here since 8:30am trying to get any help.
I have no words, he called and said he is on the way, I will update what happens.

Daniel was amazing. He came out and showed us what the problem was. And why our car would not start. And then went so far as to test the alternator as well as show us that the battery was bad. We had had another company supposedly replaced the battery. But obviously they didn't. Daniel was absolutely incredible. Recommend him highly.

I had a very upsetting and frustrating experience. My car had died and I requested a battery technician. It took over an hour just for it to be assigned and then 30 more minutes for a driver to come out. Afterwards at 1:30 PM the technician requested a tow for my vehicle. A dispatcher told me and the technician it would be there in an hour. After an hour I called asking for an update on the tow because no one had showed. The individual on the phone was nice but wasn’t sure what was happening. My time was then updated and said it could be a two hour wait but they would try to get something faster. I was then called once again saying they found someone faster and they would be there in 30 minutes. After an hour and a half I called once again and another person answered the phone and was nice but also had no idea what was happening. She then told me I would just have to wait until the tow truck driver showed up cause they must be busy. Finally after another 2+ hour wait I called for a third time asking for an update. The third person also had no idea what was going on. They then reassigned it to another tow company that finally was able to come out at 6:30 PM. This experience was extremely upsetting and frustrating. This entire experience cost me my entire day as I waited for AAA from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM. I waited 7 hours just to have my car towed 8 minutes to my house. I could have pushed it home faster.

When we were broke down we found an area with four repair shops in an 1/8 of a mile as well as a used car dealership and auto salvage. We have an older car and that's the whole reason we got AAA for break downs. Decisions about older cars are weighed out differently once a person know what's fully wrong not before. We called for a tow, picked the easiest parking lot to drop it so we could start to make a plan not fully knowing why we'd lost most of the steering capacity. When I was questioned about the parking lot shared by three business notes above one of them was a repair place, one a used dealer up front and one a salvage yard. They cancelled the tow after 30min of the order because my original location picked up by thier map system was a salvage yard. This is the worst possible service you could give anyone in a road crisis. We didn't have a set plan and AAA treated us like we were trying to steal. Thier job was to tow our broken down vehicle up to 10miles to a repair area or that limit. Shame on them.

AAA doesn't carry the maps and books any longer but if you have a premier plan they can give you a planning map, which is $32 more. The gal at the counter was pretty rude, seemed like she didn't really care what I was looking for . Big thumbs down ?

We needed International Driving Permits for travel in Europe. No appointments needed- they were courteous and speedy. They were able to take the photos that we needed as well.

I needed assistance with irrgent travel plans. I left a voicemail early in the morning and even though I called a couple hours later, the lady still wasn't available. I got a call back the next day at 5pm.
