I normally have terrible experience at Home Depot as I am new to the area. This was the most delightful Home Depot experience I've ever had. We originally went for dog kennels. However, we stumbled upon a beautiful light and a gentleman named Doug who worked there was pleasant enough and kind enough to give us a quick lesson on how to install this light he was very knowledgeable. He was kind .funny and relatable. Please give Doug an amazing raise!!!!He really does deserve it not only that but every single employee was super kind and knowledgeable.

Overall I find this store to be very clean and organized and I can generally find what I’m looking for there. However, I’ve found their customer service can go either way, with some employees being super helpful and others being disingenuous. One employee attempted to ingratiate himself by helping me out with my purchase. It’s extremely off-putting when someone offers you a kindness to lend you a hand only to turn around and very specifically TELL YOU how you can go on the receipt and fill out an online survey with their name, etc. VERY PUSHY, VERY SMUG, and EXTREMELY SELF-SERVING. They are clearly only offering “Good Customer Service” only to ADVANCE THEMSELVES. If this is what HD considers good customer service, no thanks. I would PREFER & HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Milwaukee store! ✅

*EDIT ALERT* I THOUGHT THIS WAS FOR THE EAST BOISE FEDERAL WAY STORE NOT MERIDIAN, REPEAT, MY REVIEW IS FOR THE FED WAY STORETypical of HDs, theyve slipped a little in the past 18 months as far as reliable supply of common sundry items. Overall theyre still rockin, but it shows how tight its getting when HD cant flex products out of vendors ciz there just aint no product to be had. One of the strong spots in this store is the staff. Top to bottom they bring the best attitude everyday all the time. Which you can tell the efforts have been paying off because i feel the whole store was a wreck 7 urs ago. But now theyre on track, and moving forward. Most improved store in this region (northwest) if my vote counts. And it should, i been to a pile of home depots from here to seattle and here to omak and all points in between so i know the big orange box as well any. Go on in, ask ANYBODY where ANYTHING is and they will not only tell you exactly what aisle and bay its in,but they'll usually walk you over to it. The will call desk is fast and efficient, the pro desk is on top of stuff and have rarely left some of my questions unanswered. I've seen the big manager person giving pep talks or whatever they are called and she is super smart, super nice and paying real close attention to all things under that roof and honestly, it feels nice to shop at a place where everyone is on board if not out and out happy to work there.

This location has some great staff! We’ve been here multiple times and the workers here always go above and beyond to help us get what we need. Yesterday I needed to get blinds trimmed for my house and Ben was very helpful in getting the measurements and got them all trimmed for me - thanks Ben!

Constantly can't go down the isle or get kicked out of the isle so they can get items down with their forklifts. Also recently purchased a refrigerator from them online. Found out that it was 318.00 cheaper in the store. They made me cancel my online purchase and purchase it in store to get the lower price. I'm glad I checked the in-store price before I took delivery.

They seem disorganized, ladders blocking isles and merchandise crammed in all over the store make it very hard to walk through with carts. And the lumber seems to get worse every time I go there.

First off, I whimsically tried to shop at loads, and was just not in the right place looking for decent, knowledgeable people there. Came to The Depot and THE MANAGER assisted me for everything I needed, power tools, plumbing materials, and drill bits. That guy knew what to help me with and was super patient too. Very glad our company shops only there, where THIS doer, got it done. Thanks

I always had something good to say about Home Depot but I recently needed to make a large purchase, a washing machine. Home Depot had a sale on their washers and I thought it was the perfect time . We went to the Meridian Home Depot. The sales associate we met with was very friendly and seemed to know what she was talking about when asked questions. We bought a Maytag washer. It seemed to be what we’re looking for and Maytag has been around since 1893. It was a Thursday night and we were in need of a washer right away so when the sales associate said we would be able to have it delivered the following Tuesday we thought that would be fine but the delivery was postponed to the following Friday and that is understandable, things happen. We received the washer and the delivery service removed my old washer and installed my new Maytag. They started a test wash saying it was an extended wash and would take about an hour and left. Not knowing what to expect I listened for any unusual noises and all sounded fine. It was the 4th of July weekend and we went ahead with our previous plans and on July 5th that is where Home Depot’s true colors came out. I started a wash and it sounded fine but at the rinse and spin cycle that is where we started with a terrible washing machine nightmare. The washer would not stop on its own. It kept repeating the cycle. I called Home Depot and explained what was happening and was informed that because it had been more than 48 hours since the delivery there was nothing they could do and to contact Maytag. I contacted Maytag and was told I would need 2-3 repair companies to come look at the washer and if determined by them I needed a replacement then, Whirlpool would replace the washer. What business does not honor at least a 30 day return on major purchases. It is now August 1st and after having 2 repair technicians out and being told that the control panel on the washer is malfunctioning and is on back order Whirlpool sent me a replacement machine. I feel Home Depot should have been a standup company and backed the merchandise they sell and replaced the washer after only 5 days of ownership. I should have been more diligent with looking into Home Depot’s return policy but I still think they should have taken the washer back. It was not like I just decided I didn’t like my purchase decision it was that the merchandise was faulty. So buyer beware when purchasing from Home Depot because after you make the purchase, you are basically on your own and you are in one of the worst nightmares ever!!!?.

Just wanted to thank the installers that delivered our new appliances yesterday (June 19). Bothe Michael and Jaden were very professional throughout the delivery and installation of our new Fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Wasn't able to get their company name on the truck, but still want to thank them for making sure everything worked out to our satisfaction.

I was reading another review about having a refrigerator delivered. Home Depot online was excellent, being able to text and not wait on hold is a great service they provide. The delivery service they use is horrible, no communication, having to wait on hold and no one answering so I eventually just hung up. I had to get the delivery time through the website text. When the refrigerator was delivered, they couldn't install the water line. Through text, a service call was made to install, which the delivery service cancelled without informing me. I would buy from Home Depot again but not their delivery service.

Zero stars customer service.After spending over $10,000 at this location purchasing items for my business I came in on a Saturday to get a garbage can lid because mine flew away.After speaking with customer service for an extended amount of time they would not sell me just a lid. I had to buy the can and lid. That's $80. It's a flimsy piece of plastic.I felt very dismayed for after spending so much money there they wouldn't make a sale to me to purchase the garbage can lid.Of course I was able to find it online on Amazon for like $20 and I purchased it there. I don't think I will be purchasing any more items from this Home Depot location.This definitely isn't your corner hardware store. They don't care about you. Neither does Amazon but at least they made the sale.I mean why should I spend the time to come here when I can get it delivered to me for free for cheaper with better service?
