About Joshua Institute
Joshua Institute is a caring school that helps students with learning struggles, including dyslexia. The staff go beyond to meet each child's needs, offering personalized support in a small, safe environment. They teach students strategies for success and encourage self-advocacy through kind, understanding methods. Many students improve academically, earning good grades and gaining confidence. The school feels like a family, where every child is seen, heard, and supported to succeed in their education.

Our son and daughter struggled with reading, and we couldn't figure out why. We found out after testing at JI that they struggle with dyslexia. JI has done a great job of helping them get up to speed! Thank you, Joshua Institute! Now they are going to Cole Valley Christian High School.

JI taught our student strategies for educational success. After 2 years of JI education and ed therapy our student gets As and Bs as a dual enrolled high schooler at CWI. The staff teach students to advocate for themselves, they use socratic methods during class time and approach students with kindness and understanding.

Students who've been marginalized at school because of their learning disabilities find a safe place to learn and grow, and receive coaching to become independent learners.
