I went to this location looking for a new fragrance. The one I always wore is no longer in production so I was trying to figure out something new and the selection was great but what really surprised me was how helpful and knowledgeable the staff was. I described what I liked to a couple people working and they went above and beyond to give me some great options, always patient as I tried to decide which one I liked best. I was so impressed and appreciative with how welcoming and attentive they were.

Wow. One star is far too much for the store. What overly rude employees work at this store. Couldn't get any help from anybody. Who hires these people? And what are they doing there if they're not going to assist people. I guess people with tons of ink and nailing hardware to their face is a prerequisite to work here. Total turn off. They tell people what Aisle to go to and refuse to go with them To help look for the product. Then, if you ask for help you are met with resistance and an attitude.
Why would anybody shop at this poor excuse for a business? My boyfriend and I recommend to take your business elsewhere. We will never come back.
We will go to Ulta from now on. They are far more friendly and helpful. Sephora Sucks!!

Jade at Sephora is wonderful. Just had an excellent in-store facial with her. So attentive, interactive, caring and thoughtful about me and my skin. Great personality and conversation too.
Visiting from California and the Boise dryness was impacting my skin so I went to Sephora (best for all your skincare and fragrance needs) and Jade made my day feel extra special. Thank you!

I love Sephora because all of the people inside are usually extremely kind and very willing to help customers. But every time I come to this Sephora specifically, all of the employees are extremely rude, and obviously don’t care about their customers. It doesn’t matter how nice I am, I can have the brightest smile and get it flipped straight to a frown as soon as I interact with a crew member. I can count one time I’ve been here and gotten decent service. I know people that work at Sephora’s here in Idaho and all of them have agreed that this is the worst location because of the crew. I understand people have things going on in their life and that bad days happen, But it’s consistent. Every time I come in I have a bad experience.

Sephora changed their return policy, which was the sole reason I shop here. However, the sales rep seemed pretty happy to tell me that she would not assist with my return, even though the product burns my eyes. She had zero compassion and dismissed me quickly which left a sour taste in my mouth. You’ve lost a VIB Rouge customer completely - I’ll now be shopping at Ulta. Not sure why you stopped allowing samples and returns.

I don’t usually write reviews, and I also like to have a few experiences before writing one. Me and my boyfriend are mostly in and out of this store when shopping around the Village. For me of course considering I love Fenty Beauty and Rare Beauty. I have to say from experience, we are almost never greeted and instead most employees just seem very annoyed grouped together standing around. We get eye balled most of the time in passing, and if we want help we have to approach someone. It has made me personally turn away from coming in since we moved here. However today we walked in to make our second purchase from this location and we were approached by an employee by the name of Alex. Alex was the absolute sweetest and made us feel so welcomed in the store. She answered all of the questions about where things were located in the store. We made sure to briefly tell her we appreciated her help and this was a first for us coming in. For once I felt comfortable and wanted to shop around. Will most definitely come back if Alex is working, we need more people like her in this Sephora! Otherwise I will continue to go across to Ulta Beauty or order Sephora online only. I hope the manger turns the other employees standing on the floor around. I try to be understanding that a high traffic location like this with two entrances can be hard for customer service experiences to be enjoyable. Always room for improvement!

I have been there several times now since I've been engaged!! I just today went in for a make-up trial for my wedding day and I must say I am ecstatic!!! Natalie is so great and she always takes the time to suggest and recommend all the things that make a woman look and feel beautiful!!! I will not trust anyone else with my beauty regimine. THANK YOU NATALIE.... SO BLESSED TO HAVE FOUND YOU ??

Natalie absolutely transformed my my eyebrows! She was so sweet and full of knowledge! She educated me on different Products I could use as well as what I should do moving forward! I’m so happy I found someone like her that is passionate about what they do and makes me feel good about myself!

Did you know that Sephora offers beauty treatments ? I didn't know until I was shopping in the store and met Natalie. I was looking for an eyebrow pencil and telling her how frustrated I was with my eyebrows. She immediately helped me and told me that she does eyebrow waxing in store. Well, I just had my third appointment with her, and I am so happy ! She has educated me and given me some great tips . I highly recommend her!

Molly is not pleasant whatsoever. Not once has she even acknowledged me in the store, even if she is standing by the door as I enter. I’m surprised the staff is still somewhat friendly, considering the example the manager is setting.

After reading through this location's recent and multiple low star reviews, I can clearly see why. While I was visiting the store, I asked Leticia where I could find the spring beauty items listed for sale on the Sephora website on 3.24. She quickly said that all of those items were online only, and tried to shrug me off. I asked why it didn't say online only if that were the case, and she was quick to dismiss that and say they were discontinued and wouldn't be found- perhaps in a larger city but not there. I checked the ads carefully and didn't see online only for that day, but I took her word for it and proceeded to shop around. One of the sale items on the floor caught my eye, and I asked another employee if those were the products listed online. She said yes and showed me where at least two other sales products were on the floor. I found a mgr, Paul, and explained the situation, and I showed Leticia that those products were in fact in store. She immediately started back tracking and changing her story, saying that the specific item I showed her was not in stock. I showed her the website again that I showed her earlier, and pointed out the SEVERAL items I inquired about in front of and around us. I calmly explained to her that she did not provide good customer service, because she provided a false blanket statement instead of putting in effort to assist me, and that she did not have good knowledge of the product lines available in her own store to be able to communicate them with me. The mgr Paul chimed in immediately that she had great understanding of the products on the floor. I pointed out that she obviously didn't, since she provided clear misinformation. I pointed out to him the several spots where these items were located, and he did not appreciate being proven wrong. He said I can go find good customer service elsewhere, and I gladly said I would-At Sephora in Kohls I found exactly that, and Miss Lauren was absolutely fantastic. All the employees at Ulta were super helpful and pleasant. Don't settle for less ya'll. It was a piece of cake to find better service than at this Sephora. Way to set the bar low, Leticia and Paul.
