My husband and I have had mixed experiences here. Giving a second star only for the one employee who was GREAT. Unfortunately I don’t know her name. Younger, dark hair, and glasses. When I went there were two employees. One who was busy around the store and the other who I believe was the manager. I was ignored and practically avoided while I was looking for an item to exchange with. I had a super difficult time finding anything in my size. There were even bras where it was unclear if they had larger sizes than the typical sizes. I ended up deciding just to return my item. My husband had bought it so naturally, I didn’t have the card he had used. Normally, with the receipt one should be able to return the amount to the card without it being present. But no, my husband has to go out of his way to go return it! The manager barely looked at me and acted like I was inconveniencing her the whole time. I have liked the products that I have gotten there before, but if I’m going to be treated like that, I’d rather go somewhere else.

Wonderful service! I've always had trouble finding a proper bra due to my large size and back problems. I was left to explore the store on my own for about 15 minutes, which I know many people expect to be greeted but It looked like they were training a new employee. I got close to the fitting room and was kindly greeted. She seemed passionate about helping me find the right fit and used other bras as a size reference instead of measuring tape. I didn't even tell her what style of bras I liked but she knew just by paying attention to the ones I selected. It took about 2-3 tries to get the perfect bra. Overall kind and friendly attitude. I wish I got her name. It also helps my first visit was during their 50% off bras sale ❤️ I will definitely be returning

I get that on a Saturday, when my clock read 10:01am your doors may still have locked. 5 minutes later, still locked. It’s enough to hate The Village anyway, but alas, I wandered, killing 20 minutes. Back to your store, still locked, watching your blonde employee see me and literally turn her back . If you don’t want to open at your posted time, that is fine, but respect your customers by at least posting when you will open, or open the door and explain why you are not ready for customers 20+ minutes after your posted open time. For a store that is paying high rent, losing a customer to the online platform, or another store altogether, doesn’t help your numbers.

Hailey was so helpful! I have always struggled in finding bras, and she made my experience not only pleasant but educational.

I can see why this place doesn’t get the greatest reviews.. very disappointing after a 2 hour drive. Couldn’t find my size (36C) in hardly any style at all. Finally found 2 bras in my size out of the entire store. One of the employees took my measurements and asked if she could see the bra on me to help, I said sure. And then she never came and asked to see anything or if I needed help but kept helping the one other girl that was there trying on bras.. I definitely feel the employees have bias against plus size women.

Both of the clerks were rude and unhelpful. One gal said she couldn’t look for more bras cause she was backed up with people. We were there spending money and got very poor service

Hands-down, the best shopping experience I have ever had. My mother-in-law and I got fitted for a bra and were in the store for about an hour. The staff was very friendly and were very very helpful in making sure we had a bra that fit just right. We both ended up walking out with the most comfortable bra.

Hailey was super super helpful and made sure that I walked away informed about what size I needed and what styles were going to be most supportive to me. She was friendly and definitely made my first time in a great one! Will definitely be going back in the future!

I went in a couple weekends ago and walked in, looked around, nobody asked what I needed. I did not feel welcomed and will avoid going in store in the future. Customer service needs improvement. There were about 4 workers and 2 ladies already there. It took a little while for them to acknowledge I was there, standing right by them, when I asked to get measured. I tried the size and it definitely didn’t fit so I picked another bra with a larger band size. This is when I finally asked for more help about wireless options in store. Tara helped me and she was very nice and attentive. She made up for the initial poor customer service. I’m also still waiting on an order; if they don’t have it in store, they ship it to you for free (8-14 days). I spent $140 on two vanishing 360 wireless and the sport seamless bra. The sport bra is my favorite purchase; I wear 40DDD and XXL fit perfectly. Amazing quality! It is very comfortable with moisture wicking and great for daily wear. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase.

After reading reviews I was quite nervous to go in the store. I planned to just keep my head down and get what I need. Although after walking in I was greeted almost immediately asking if I needed help finding something. Because I didn’t see my size on the floor I had to ask. The sales associate was so helpful and gathered all options for me that they had in the back in my size. We even had to do a little back and fourth for sizing. She continued to check in while I was trying options on. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The store was quite busy when I was there as well.

No customer service at all. For some reason most items over a size medium are kept in the back room. Without customer service you can't get those sizes. It's a mess. Save yourself the trouble and just order online.

I was in the Meridian Village Soma store this afternoon and felt their customer service treatment of me was somewhat lacking. I’ll say up front that the staff were busy, and I totally get that. But no one asked if they could assist me, even though they asked other shoppers. I had questions about bras and sleepwear, but I was just taking my husband home following surgery and he was waiting in the car. I live more than an hour away and had hoped I could make just a quick stop. But because they were so busy, I decided to just pick up some underpants and head out. I stood in line for a while because they were busy helping people, and a staff member said she would be right with me, but then this man walked in and just pushed himself in and asked for help, and the person started helping him ahead of me rather than asking him to please wait his turn. So I said to the person in line ahead of me that maybe I would leave and just order online, and explained why. She then very kindly and graciously insisted that I go ahead of her, and asked the cashier to please help me first. The cashier wasn’t nasty, but she obviously was very unhappy about doing that, and I’m not sure why. She was cool with me, and when I mentioned that the selection of medium-sized underpants was very low, she didn’t say anything or respond to me. She might have said thank you at the end, but I’m not sure. I did say thank you, but then thanked the other customer again profusely for her kindness. It was a small incident, but I have to admit that it has somewhat soured me in that Soma store. I understand she was busy, but she was very friendly with other customers, so I don’t understand her attitude toward me. Sometimes even small things warrant only a one-star review.

I've been in this store several times in the last few years. Customer service has always been okay for me. Not great, but okay. The quality of the underwear isn't what it once once, however. If it wasn't so comfortable, I'd look elsewhere. I got fitted for a bra several years ago and ended up with the wrong size, and it was very uncomfortable. I'm not sure that was the fault of the girl measuring me, though, as I get the same size suggestion when I enter my measurements online. I decided to give them another try for bras today, but they don't open until 11:00 now. Almost every other store in The Village opens at 10:00, and there were employees inside Soma at 10:15 when I checked. I realize that they need time to stock and such, but I think this was a poor move on part of the management. I'm not sure if I'll be back.

Great customer service. They made me feel very comfortable getting fitted and hand selecting the bras I should try out. They listened to what I was wanting and helped me find exactly what I needed.
