I had a very frustrating experience with USPS customer service. I came in with questions about my lost packages and mail being sent to my old address, but the representative did not seem willing to help me find a solution. Instead of walking me through possible next steps, I felt brushed off and left without answers. As a customer, I expected at least an effort to troubleshoot the issue or provide some guidance, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen.

Give these folks a raise (John, Kerri, Don, and Marrgo, no specific order just from left to right at the counter!) Everyone here is super friendly. I went to the Nampa one twice and both times had awful experiences. These folks here actually care, smile, laugh, and treat you like a person. Hands down the best USPS! All 4 of the clerks are awesome, almost on a first name basis with all of them! John goes above and beyond and makes me laugh! Kerri was super informative my first time back in after my experience at the Nampa one, Don is very polite, and very quick, and man he has a cool beard! Marrgo is a sweetheart, super nice and always answers my questions. This place is great!

They are literally the worst. Lost more packages, everything shipped by them somehow always gets delayed. If I didn't have any other options to get my mail I would never use them. Crazy that you have to pass a knowledge test just to get hired. Something major is wrong, oh it's federally regulated that would make sense.

I have now attempted to send them several letters in the last few months, the first three from my home and the last directly from the mail slot at the post office. None have been received, but I’ve yet to have a single one returned. I’d try going inside and getting a tracking label for the letter, but at this point I’d rather not risk it and will be driving to Eagle to use their post office instead. Genuinely confused as to what is happening to these pieces of mail, it seems to happen to people somewhat often based on these reviews. Letters go in and don’t seem to come out. Would not recommend.

Parking situation is awful. Full of nearby employees so really only 5 spots for post customers. I pre stamp so I can just drop off packages, the checkout line is always super long and slow.

Called about a parcel box that had a broken key. They fixed it same day and delivered my parcel to my front door. Awesome service

Never any parking for customers once the employees take most of the spots. Also, departments don't talk to each other. I lost a mailbox key for 24 hours and even though I told them NOT to hold the mail, they did it anyways for 2 weeks! I even went in there after one week and asked whether I had any held mail to make sure because I had not received any. They told me they were not holding my mail. Then another week later I went in and they handed me a huge stack going back 2 weeks.

Ridiculous collection times at outside mailbox! 5 PM M-F Clearly not for public convenience!!! My home town picks up closer to 10 AM! 🤦♀️

I've never had a package make it to my city post office to be delivered that night but then the next day be shipped to another flipping city almost 2 hours away. How does a post office mis-ship a package that was already in its destinated city??? Now I have to wait another 3 days for my package!

Needless to say it's an experience every visit. Normally have 1 -2 employees at the desk if you're lucky with a line out the door. Tax season is terribly understaffed with extremely long wait lines no matter what time you visit. Employees are friendly and always apologize for the delay which is nice.
Everyone knows it's not their fault they're understaffed during peak hours and seasons. Think it's worth the drive to neighboring cities to get your postage done.

They do not put tape on box anymore but tape for purchase is available . I takes a long time to get to counter because they are always asking questions if u need this or that for packaging and most people don’t need any adds.
