This guy is way to expensive & has no bedside manners. He's cold and heartless. He charged me $500 to come out and ultrasound my horses fetlock, & it didn't even come with pictures! His only recommendation was to put the horse down which wb cheaper! Terrible vet!

Such a great experience. Dr. Borders was a life saver. We aquired a Quarter horse with a very odd and severe hoof injury. Dr. Borders was very caring and extremely professional. And set all our questions and concerns at ease. We are thankful to have been referred to him. I highly recommend.

I had my first equine emergency this week after finding my horse, Forest, had split his lower eyelid. I’m a first time horse owner and this was our first experience needing urgent care. Dr. Borders made my horse’s care a priority and responded within an hour. Dr. Borders was thorough and immediately made my Forest comfortable. He provided excellent onsite care and I’m pleased that we’re now on the mend. I will definitely be calling Dr. Borders for all our future needs. Thank you!

We really like Dan and feel he is a great vet for our animals! Very nice and really took the time to look at our horse explain everything to us along with our options! On top of it he was really patient and sweet with our 3 year old who kept talking up a storm and wanting to make a new friend!

What a wonderful vet. My horse injured himself after hours, of course, and Dr. Danny came out and took care of my horse and me. Danny was kind and compassionate. This visit was my first encounter with Dr. Danny, but it will not be my last. Anyone looking for good, honest and caring veterinarian contact Borders Equine Clinic, you will not be sorry.

Very personable and very attentive! Dan really took the time to explain everything and all our options. bonus was he was very sweet with our 3 year old son who kept talking to him wanting the attention! haha we will continue to use him for all of our large animal needs!

Dr Borders came an performed a PPE on a gelding I am selling. He was on time, courteous, and handled my horse very well. I especially appreciated that he kept me in the loop throughout the exam rather than making me wonder if my horse was passing or not. Would 10/10 call him again. Thank you, Dr. Borders.

Dan is the worst most uncompassionate vet I have ever encountered!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would!!!!! He has zero people skills and no emotion my friends stallion had a horific injury and he literally did not even say a word just stabbed it in the neck with the medicine to put it down, the stallion fell hard smacked it's head was thrashing around, grunting, in obvious huge amounts of pain! Dan did not give him enough medicine to die peacefully, he did not ease him to the ground, he on purpose let him fall hard!!! The owner is a fragile 70 year old who was bawling her eyes out. This is the most horrific experience of my life!!! Never in my life have a encountered such an awful person!!!!!! He refused to say what clinic he worked for simply just stated "my own" I was there helping my friend so I didn't know what vet she called. After the stallion stopped thrashing he came back out of his truck where he had walked off to after stabbing it with the needle and opened his eyes and said "yup it's dead." If you really hate an animal then call Dan he will ensure it suffers!!!
