My medication says not to stop taking suddenly but they can deny refills. Not sure how that makes sense.

Awful experience. My husband suffers from severe anxiety attacks. Called to schedule appointment and get his prescription refilled. Come to find out he has been passed off to a nurse practitioner who can’t see him until 1/9 since his doctor recently left the clinic. He asked if he could get his prescription refilled until then and was told no because he must be seen, which while frustrating is understandable. However, when I called to see if there was anyway to get him an appointment sooner I was informed that this NP won’t prescribe his medication at all! What were they going to do? Have him suffer for a month and then be seen only to tell them they wouldn’t prescribe his same medication???I would say there is a very good reason why both doctors left this facility and also why it has received plenty of negative reviews lately. I’m sure it’s probably a providers right to prescribe or not prescribe certain medications, however, I also believe that there is also a responsibility to inform their patients that they will need to seek care elsewhere and this was not done. Completely unprofessional, not to mention reckless with the mental health of their patients.

They got me right in and wait time was minimal. All the staff was very professional. Definitely would go back for urgent care. Thank you!

Took my daughter in today for anxiety and panic attacks. Our family physician is no longer there so we had to see an NP. We scheduled the appointment to get doctor note for days she has left school because of these. Dr. Allen had given her notes before. Today I paid 90 bucks for the NP to tell her to take Vitamin D and do yoga. They also wouldn't give us a note for the last few weeks for days missed as they hadn't seen her. We'll no kidding they hadn't seen her the soonest appointment when I called was for today. So 90 bucks for a note for school for today. Very frustrating and more anxiety for my daughter knowing she may not get all her class credits now. Dr. Allen please come back.

Has disappointed me more times than I can even count. Don’t go here if you need actual help.Editing to say that yet again, they have made everything so much worse. If I could afford to go anywhere else I would. These guys are really only good at one thing: taking advantage of poor sick people. You should be ashamed, this is a pathetic excuse of a medical clinic and at this point it’s much easier to just die than try to get any help. Absolutely shameful.

I have multiple health issues. This clinic is where I am supposed to be a client, but they do not answer when I call, and they do not call me back. They told me they were going to refer me to occupational medicine, and they did not when I talked to them about it they said occupational health tried to call me and left a message. Occupational medicine said they never received any referrals.Something very wrong with this clinic.

I've been going for over 2 years now, and from the front desk staff to the nurses and doctors themselves, you are given the best treatment. As soon as you walk in, you're treated like family with smiling faces and sweet dispositions, even when one or more of the staff are not feeling 100%. I would absolutely recommend the West Valley Medical Group - Middleton Clinic! I've had many doctors, and Dr. Richard McConkie is my number 1 go-to doctor, and the clinic environment itself is more like visiting a five-star hotel while receiving special treatment. Thank you, Middleton West Valley Medical Group for giving me the best experiences!

I really like Dr. Reno and Richard McConkie. I have an excellent report with Richard over the years and he takes the time to listen to me as I have an extensive medical history.I still scratch my head at the office procedures in general. How is it that the front office can't seem to answer the phone? Phones should never go to voice mail, totally unprofessional. And voice mails should not take until the end of the day to be returned or even worse returned the next day. It shouldn't take 7 to 10 days for a referral to be processed for a specialist or a specialized procedure.I implore the West Valley Medical Group to do a deep assessment of the policies and procedures and tighten up their processes.

I have been going here for just over two years. I can't begin to say how much I really like and appreciate not just my PA Rebecca, but the entire staff also. Even when they were very short staffed and extremely busy, they maintained professionalism and kindness, and were responsive to my needs. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

I had been sick for a week or so and couldn't take it anymore so I went to the West Valley Medical Group here in Middleton. They got me in asap. Come to find out, my gallbladder was jacked up along with my liver and pancreas. Ended up at St Luke's for 4 days... Love Dr. Reno so much I changed my primary..

I will start by saying that everyone at the front desk has always been kind and professional. However, from the fist scheduled appointment I should have listened to my gut. In order to get an annual wellness check you must first schedule an appointment to "establish care", so your once a year appointment that typically is fully covered by insurance isn't your only appointment because you must pay for the first appointment. I scheduled my adult son first. Dr Reno Happily prescribed meds and sent us on our way. We chose not to fill this particular prescription and looked for alternative ways to address the issue first. My son still needed his physical, so with hesitation I decided to just give him the benefit of the doubt because he seemed like a nice Dr and I believe everyone deserves a second chance. The Dr listened to his heart and lungs asked some questions and was out the door. There was no physical exam done at all. While we were in the appointment we asked about a different type of medicine...things you would typically talk about at a physical. A month later I receive a bill for the copay of his physical. I called billing and they said they must have made a mistake with the codes, so they would send it back. Today I receive a past due bill and called the main billing number to ask why I am receiving a bill still. They told me that because we asked for medicine at this appointment that it was charged as a separate visit. What?!!! Are you kidding? I was then told to call the Dr office and figure it out with them. The lady I spoke with was kind and professional like they always are and said she would speak with the office manager. I get a call back saying that the charge is correct and we do owe for the bill. Seriously?! For a physical that wasn't even a physical and then you are going to basically charge double?! Nope! My gut feeling from the initial appointment was this place is just out to make a buck however they can. I made the mistake of scheduling my own appointments prior to getting the bill and had the same experience. No exam whatsoever....happily refilled my meds and referred me to places that I'm sure he gets a kickback. I now need to schedule an actual "exam" elsewhere and pay out of pocket once again. All other family members appointments have been cancelled and we will never step foot in that building again! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! Find a different Drs office!

Our doctor was great! But the front end staff is pointless. 7 calls and 2 weeks before I got a call back. From my experience if they spent less time on their phones maybe they wouldn’t be “so busy.”

Love having a Doctor close to home, and having one that cares about my health. It is so nice to call and make an appointment that I don't have to wait for a month to get in. Love getting an e-mail saying my test results were ready, and I can log on and look at them, LOVE this. I am very happy with the office and staff in Middleton.
