I was in Bear Lake for a family reunion this past week. We spent a Thursday at the North Shore. At 5 pm we all were loading up and suddenly my Yukon wouldn't start and was having all sorts electrical issues. We drug it to a local church parking lot and left it and came back around 9 with some tools to try and diagnose the problems. We were stumped and couldn't get it running. After a stroke of dumb luck, we got it running at 10pm but with most of the electronics not working.

I looked for mechanics in Montpelier and found Lloyd Automotive. I called the number hoping they had an after hours emergency line. Jared answered and we talked for a bit about the problem. He told me to go ahead and drop it off at his shop and he would began working on it the morning, dropping everything else he was doing. He was very sympathetic and told me that he gets being away from everyone and everything I trust and having issues. So I was able to drive it to his shop with every warning light blaring at me.

He started working on it the next day and diagnosed all of the issues I was having. He was very quick to find the problems and present solutions. He dealt with NAPA about getting the part warranted that I replaced 2 years prior but failed. He got the part ordered and got it installed first thing Saturday. He even cleaned up my overheating issue.

Jared was honest with me and didn't over charge me because of the rush. He was super friendly to talk with. He was very pleasant to work with. He was fair. He was knowledgeable about the issue and his to prevent other similar issues in the future. He helped me out when I needed it most: stranded hundreds of miles from home with nobody I knew around. Jared saved the day for me and my family. He's my hero for what he did and how quickly he did it. I'd give him 100 stars if there was an option to do so.”
