“As a knit pattern designer, I head straight for the yarn aisle. Michaels in Moscow, Idaho has a well-stocked yarn and knitting supply section. It’s a great place to shop for materials, and being able to see and feel the yarn in person is especially helpful. I was glad to see familiar brands and supplies I used to shop for at Joann’s, which was another store I relied on for knit materials.

I also enjoy spending time in the paint section. Michaels makes it easy to pick up the basics when exploring a new hobby. Even when I’m focused on yarn, looking at color and texture in other mediums is useful.

The store is clean, organized, and easy to move through. The staff are always friendly, available, and helpful without being intrusive, which makes browsing comfortable.
