I'm not sure why they have terrible ratings! I had a great time, felt like a kid in a candy store! Ruth and the other lady working there were professional, kind and very helpful! Glad I didn't listen to the other reviews.

Michaels - three stars Michael's is a great store for any kind of craft Supply such as special artist pencils or paint. I used to get a lot of drafting supplies from here a while back. The items are generally high quality even though the prices might be a little high. The selection is massive. The store is clean, well lit, and organized. The employees need an attitude adjustment by the corporate office This was my experience. Apparently my mother was treated badly by the employees as well so I'm granting them 3 stars because of this.

I was in the store recently with my wife and we didn't buy anything but I feel compelled to comment about the treatment another customer received. Apparently, this other customer was buying some expensive art paper for charcoal drawing and the clerk brought a large sheet of art paper out and the transaction was made. The customer asked that the paper be rolled up and protected with another piece of paper that could be wrapped around it and taped so as to protect the art paper. This seemed like a reasonable request to me, given that it was rather expensive paper. The response of the two clerks was pretty incredible, "No we can't give you a piece of paper." After some discussion, they finally relented but they seemed reluctant to help the customer at all. In the process, they were incredibly rude to the customer and kind of insulting. I had half a mind to tell the twenty-something clerks how to behave. I would have complained to the manager on behalf of the customer but I didn't see a manager around. My wife received similar treatment from one of the clerks on a previous visit. So I would say that the clerks working at this store really don't understand customer service at all.

Today was a very busy day at the store because it is labor day weekend. I know that it can be overwhelming for the sales associates, but there is no excuse for their rudeness. I asked one of the associates, an older lady ( I think her name is Ann) if they are accepting Iphone coupons and she snarled, "Of course!!!" What an attitude!
