Mighty Oaks did an incredible job, and we recommend them without reservation. Our 1928 house had carpet and cork that had seen better days. With a four-year apprenticeship, European training on old-world resin finishing techniques, and decades of experience, Indigo was exactly the right person to do the job. Indigo was able to uncover the western fir and maple floors and refinish them to magnificence. The mastery, professionalism, and care he took in the process were outstanding. Every old house has its problems and surprises, and ours was no exception -- but Indigo's experience and thoughtfulness managed to resolve them all. Whether it was slightly bowed floors, or a surprise horsehair carpet layer stapled to the wood, or a place where a remodeling carpenter took an unfortunate shortcut, Indigo was able to figure it out and extract a masterpiece. And the end result of his incredible work ethic, his insistence on quality materials and his quality process speaks for itself when the sun hits the floor in the morning. On top of all that, Indigo was just a pleasure to have around the house. He worked diligently, followed through on his commitments, never left us hanging, and just exemplified calm, peace and confidence -- invaluable in a contractor.
