The Idaho Hotel in Silver City offers a rustic and historic experience. It is an old building, full of history, and not a modern hotel. The rooms are comfortable with few commodities but are kept really clean. Guests can have an amazing dinner and breakfast at the restaurant inside, with the strawberry rhubarb pie highlighted as exceptional. The staff and people running the hotel are very welcoming and amazing, contributing greatly to the experience. The location is a fun visit, but the town is very narrow and small, with warnings about trailers and getting stuck. The hotel provides a great adventure, with a sense of stepping back in time, and features historical books and stories. It is a fantastic place for those seeking an unforgettable and unique stay.
Late review but still had to tell the secret. This establishment has the best pie I have ever eaten in my life. And I am over 50 years old and grew up on good old fashioned farm pies. If you want to take a scenic drive to Silver City to just get pie, this is worth it.

This is not the Hilton, so do not expect mints on your pillows, but it is rustic, full of history, and the staff are very welcoming. For as old as these buildings are, they are exactly the way they should be.... historical. As always, leave it better than you found it and enjoy 😉.
