This company and it's employees are by far the most incompetent individuals I have ever had the displeasure of having to interact with. We had our loan with Bank of the West when BMO bought them out. Since then, each month when we make our payment they take our money, cash it and then incisively harass and threaten us claiming they didn't receive payment. Each month I have to go to our main bank and get proof they've cashed our check and then return to their bank or customer service line with that proof. I have tried speaking with the branch manager, who was nothing but unprofessional, tried to lie, make petty excuses and then hung up on us. I have spoken to their customer service center several times for hours on end to have them "look" for our funds that are suddenly found once I provide a receipt. We are to the point of hiring an attorney for this illegal scheme they're trying to run and very grateful we have proper paper trails for everything. I would stay very far away from this fraudulent institution and save yourself the brain cells from having to speak to the people employed here.

Firstly, I would like to say every single encounter I’ve had at this fabulous bank has been nothing but, professional, courteous, and outstandingly friendly. As a young citizen in a society of deception and lies, this is one of few places where I can get the answers I want. Now that’s something more powerful than anything. I’m not saying this is the only bank you should go to, obviously it’s case to case for what bank you want, yet I choose bank of the west, and fully support them.

This is indeed the worst bank, a lot of bad experience. I became a customer for two years at Bank of The West, but every year I got charged for overdraft fee. As a poor guy, I tried my best to secure my account balance. I sent the payment to cover the negative balance by Zelle on the same day. But they said the cutoff time is 3 pm in Idaho. So they charged me in this way. This bank just takes advantage of poor customers.

It's called bank of the worst. I became a customer for 2 years, and got charged overdraft fee for $32 each time and every year. They said they have a different cutoff time for 3 pm, so my payment couldn't apply even I sent before 5 pm. They are unreasonable, taking advantage of costomers.

Have had nothing but problems. Changed my address to someone elses! Wouldn't let me close my deceased husband's account without his signature, deposited funds in wrong account.

Had to Mark a star,, to be able to post..Over 30 minutes to do a drive through deposit, with 3 cars in front of us. Ridiculous wait times.

Deposited money through drive up teller. Amount was incorrect. Called the bank and spoke with a manager that was incredibly rude. Can't do business with a company that makes those type of mistakes. Will never bank here again

I was skeptical about opening a checking account but thanks to Briana & her help I believe this will be a good experience. Our boss has banked here & they have been GREAT! Everyone here is kind and helpful from the folks when you walk in the door and ALL the tellers and the drive through

Horrible customer service!! I tried to get my mobile deposit limit increased and the gal told me the information I gave her didn't match what she had but she couldn't verify what info I gave her or ask for additional information so my acct COULD be verified. When I asked to speak to her supervisor she said she WAS the supervisor!
