The staff is frequently described as awesome, kind, wonderful, and friendly, with specific praise for associates who go above and beyond to help. However, the store faces several challenges. Many reviews mention that lines are always long at the fabric cutting area and that the store often does not have desired items in stock, which is frustrating. The physical location is repeatedly criticized for being tricky, with a shady back parking lot, a disaster of a parking lot, and a connection to an abandoned mall. The ladies at the fabric cutting table are always so friendly and they have a great selection of Guttermann threads, my preferred sewing thread. So sad to hear Joann of closing. The end of an era!

Love the variety of fabric and yarn and is one of the few fabric/craft stores around. But the lines are always long at the fabric cutting area. When they hire more help they will get a 5 star rating.
