Y'all need to realize there's a whole 3 people working there most days because corporate won't let them hire more. They're trying their best. Yes, the store is a mess, but that's because of overstock. Not the employee's fault. They try to take care of it but there's just too much and usually the store is busy, especially these days now that the store is closing. That's another thing!! If your wait times are long, don't blame it on the employees. There's only a few of them, and hundreds of people choose to come in and buy stuff because the store is closing. Have patience and be kind please.

Took an extremely long time just to get fabric cut people were getting hostile and not allowing people with numbers to get through the employees would skip over them and then when they switched people it went even slower than ever. Eventually I get to the checkout area and guess what it's another 45-minute wait the store was also filthy and the area it's in is extremely sketchy the front of the store is all boarded up and the only way to get there is to go around the back

I have no words for how trashy and awful this store was. Complete filth and chaos. They still had Christmas stuff thrown all over the place. It felt like a ghost town in there…. I could have (but didn’t obviously) walked out with anything.
And what’s with the entrance? The sign doesn’t even work. I’m convinced they deal drugs out of that hole. Kidding, but not really. I’m shocked they are not one of the locations closing down.

The ladies at the fabric cutting table are always so friendly and they have a great selection of Guttermann threads, my preferred sewing thread. So sad to hear Joann of closing. The end of an era!

I frequently shop at Joanns, and I've always been impressed by the dedication of the employees.
However, I'm writing this review to express my concern regarding corporate.
Specifically, the failure to compensate or hire overnight staff for stocking inventory, and with the prioritization of online orders, over in-store customers, has significantly impacted the shopping experience.
There are boxes and mess everywhere and no one can even walk around safely! Sometimes app will show something is in stock but then I look everywhere and its no where to be found.
While I've been a loyal customer for a long time, the store's condition has deteriorated considerably since the introduction of online orders.
This is not a reflection on the employees, but rather a systemic issue stemming from management and corporate decisions.
The store's cleanliness and accessibility for wheelchair users are also cause for concern
The current state presents a potential liability.
Also, the significant price difference between online and in-store shoppiny seems to be driving the high amount of online orders for the employees to work on, causing not enough time to put inventory away because they also have to cut fabric and ring out customers.
Joanns, please address these issues, including providing fair compensation to your hardworking employees and improving store condition!! The current workload is simply unsustainable and not safe for employees or customers!

Love the variety of fabric and yarn and is one of the few fabric/craft stores around. But the lines are always long at the fabric cutting area. When they hire more help they will get a 5 star rating.

What are mess! Twelve people in line, one cashier whom is also answering the phone while trying to check. Shelves are empty &/or messy on a regular basis. Boxes & packages of unopened stock all over the floors. Store is very dirty. JoAnns used to be a top notch fabric store. So disappointed.

Do not do online order for pickup at this store! They will not fill the order and will expect you to go find the items in store instead. If you wait for store pick up they will not fill the order even days after it is due to for pick up and there is not a way to cancel the pending order. Has been 3 days since guarantee of pick up and have yet to been able to pick up items or cancel through customer support. Will not be back.

How does this store stay open? It is soooooo dirty and the inventory is always left in boxes in the aisles. The staff is pleasant enough, but I'm torn between feeling sorry for them working in such conditiona and irritated that one of them doesn't put the inventory away. Idk if the store has a separate justodian crew, but whoever cleans should be ashamed of themselves. The bathroom has thick black build up on the floor and the fixtures are stained. The floor in the store is filthy too. Don't get me started on the HUGE potholes in the parking lot. Wow.

This is the second time I have been in the Nampa store. It has been a year between visits. Both times the store was highly disorganized, messy, boxes everywhere and in disrepair. This is NOT the Joann Fabrics that I know and love. I will make sure in the future I visit a different Joann’s Fabric.

The store is dirty with boxes everywhere in the isles. Customers with walkers cannot navigate the store. Getting help to locate items is none existing.
The only reason the store is getting a 2 star rating is because of the part-time elderly lady who busted her butt helping the extremely long line of Customers needing fabric cut. She was amazing!!!!

This store is trashed all the time. I'm shocked Joann corporation doesn't care about the way this store looks. You literally have to move boxes or carts to get to certain products.

Signs on every bin of thread read, “buy 3 get 2 free” I got 5 and was charged for 5! Took my receipt in and they refused to reimburse me as the date of expiration was 2 weeks old!!! Pull the ad signs and stop false advertising! Will never go back. Period.
