Very unprofessional work crew, do not recommend this place! Worst financial company to go through.

P1FCU has so many services and options to meet my needs - loans, banking, business, insurance, etc. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Its a very welcoming atmosphere. This is why I love credit unions and will always prefer using P1FCU to any bank anywhere.

Have had a great experience twice now with their loan department. Communication is excellent and they are clear and concise about expectations and liability. Have been very pleased with how professional and helpful they are throughout the entire borrowing process.

Since P1FCU bought out mountain gem credit union it’s been nothing but a nightmare. I’m charge for wire transfers. my mountain gem credit card of 20+ years was closed and was giving a high rate with P1FCU instead of a locked rate at 8.99%. And to top it off, today 9-12-23 the card disappeared off my credit report dinging my credit 10 points for the card not being there anymore. You can’t get a real person on the phone when you call anymore like you used to. every time I turn around there’s a fee for something, I was never charged for from the old credit union. Very unsatisfied with this credit union I wish I could give them zero stars as of today. I have been a long time customer for 25 years to mountain gem/quinco credit Union.

I have been banking with P1FCU for over 37 years. I have never had such bad service in any of that time as I have in the last 2 years. This credit union use to be member focused and go the extra mile to make things right. Now they are trying to act like big shot corporate banks. Rates are horrible, they do not allow you to close your own accounts, and do not deposit money into drop boxes in a timely manner. Not to mention the customer service is sub par. If you are looking for a good quality credit union do NOT become a member of P1FCU. A once amazing business floundering to steal from their members and look royal.

I've enjoyed a professional relationship with Barry Nichols for several months now, and he is the reason my company partners with P1FCU. The excellent communication, friendly service, and overall teamwork Barry has shown make him a real asset to your fantastic credit union. You guys are the best!

Proud member for 12 plus years. When we moved to Nampa 6 years ago they did not have a branch anywhere in the valley. We Stayed faithful with long distance banking though. Now here they are just 2 miles from my house. Thanks P1FCU! Keep up the great work

Update: After a credit card company charged my Husband's empty checking account 3x(!) because we didn't select my account, taking us for $35 in fees, MGCU could have done the same-- 3 times! I am extremely grateful they didn't. They chose not to charge us (which we couldn't have covered- meaning further penalties) without us even contacting them. What a relief! It's easy to make a costly mis-click once in a while with multiple bank accounts and cards, and I greatly appreciate a credit union which doesn't penalize this when the money is there. As for the 5* review for $5 I mentioned from over a year ago, they amended it to $5 for "a positive review", so I didn't qualify. Still, it appears they listened, and that matters to me. They earned those 2 extra stars, with an amended 5* rating if this is the new policy. Thank you, Mountain Gem.------------I have been a member of Mountain Gem since it was called Quinco and I was a toddler-- I'm almost 43; I wish that loyalty counted for something. Their online service still lags days behind, putting members at risk for overdraft fees (they got a family member this way, even though the money was actually deposited earlier, as records showed!), and although they waived a +/-$1 "test fee" from new businesses (which caused overdraft fees of $35ish), I am told this was a one-time "courtesy". Like other banks, they punish you for having an empty account. They are running a $5 promotional, but only for those who rate them 5 stars. I'd respect them more if they allowed honest feedback. - 1 star for that. Beware of 5-star reviews.

Any review over one star is fake. Worst establishment in the entire Treasure Valley! Terrible customer service and don’t bother asking the manager for help cause she is the worst one there. If there’s an issue she either walks away or tries to argue. Save ALL receipts because on multiple occasions they screwed up my payments and I had to lay out every receipt to them until they fixed the problem. When I paid off my auto loan I filled out a survey in the branch rating them low due to all the problems I had over the 4 years and then of course after that they then “forgot” to mail my title out and it took me over a month of constantly calling them and asking them to send it until finally one of the front desk ladies admitted it had never been done from the start. I’m shocked they’re even still in business. Just stick with ICCU or Wells Fargo and save yourself the headache.

Not sure what happened but over the past few years this place has really gone down hill the customer service is lacking and the overall experience has been lackluster. I have been a member for 20 plus years and I am now closing my accounts and taking my business and money elsewhere. Welcome to 2019 where customer service and customer relationships are not priority #1. Sad.

I have banked with MGCU for several years and have always been happy with everything. I have always been impressed at their customer service as well has their care and concern for our accounts. I prefer credit unions because they know me and my family and we aren't just a number to them. Even traveling out of state I am usually very careful about using my debit card, but have never had any problems. I do communicate with them if I am doing something out of my normal activity so they have a heads up. Plus, they will touch base if they ever have any questions about my activity. It is a personal touch that you can't get a huge banks.

Love love love the friendly and helpful people at this credit union. They've always gone above and beyond and treat me as a personal friend not just a member. I highly recommend them and know you can trust them with your money and to help in any way they can!
