By The Way Campground is a small, comfortable Idaho gem located right off the highway, making it an easy find. The grounds are well cared for and offer level lawn tent sites, paved parking, and back-in spots with water and electric, plus an on-site dump station. Amenities include clean, warm washrooms with hot showers, an on-site laundry, and incredible Wi-Fi strong enough for remote work. A community gazebo provides a sitting area, and the office offers DVDs to borrow. The owners are super friendly, helpful, and welcoming, often described as feeling like family. They are on-site and available for any needs. While there is some highway noise, many guests find it muffled and not disruptive. The location is a major advantage, within minutes of many attractions including a park, a 75-mile paved trail, skiing, fishing, mining tours, historical sites, and nearby grocery, restaurants, and gas. A special highlight is the occasional evening visit from a resident moose. The campground is noted for great value, pretty sunsets, and a highly recommended stay.

Excellent Park Hosts, great camping sites, water and electric no sewer hook up but there is a dump station.

Location was right off the highway ?? Easy find! The showers were hot???? They also have laundry on premises ? Host was very nice ? Thank youI hear there is a resident moose that visits the camp in the late evening but on this night we didn't get to see him. Maybe next time ?

These guys were awesome! Great place to tent camp on our cross country bike trip!
