I'd give James 6 stars if I could! James took great care of us from start to finish. He was upfront about how busy he was (which busy and booked out is a good sign in my eyes!), was extremely thorough when going through our car. Even asked to keep it over night one more time to double check his work and make sure everything was running properly before sending us on our way. He was very honest and fair in his pricing. We live in Rigby and will now be driving to Pocatello whenever we can to have James take care of us. One of the best mechanics we've ever worked with. Highly recommend!

I recently moved to Pocatello and needed to get some truck repair on my Diesel 250. After going to one shop, still had the problem. Was blessed to find Accu Tech Auto Repair, as James the new owner, treated me so great it was refreshing as I have not been here long and already been taken advantage of by prior mechanics. He is fair on his prices too. I am a senior on a fixed income and just want to say; you will be very satisfied with James's work ethic. He does what he says, he is honest, and his mechanics know what they're doing. Friendly bunch people, you can trust them as they know the importance of treating people right. We need more of your character James, in the service industry. I will be returning to your business. Thank you and your crew, I very much appreciate all of you. He even gave me a ride home and when my truck was completed, he picked me up, that’s what you call going above and beyond. Truck runs great now. You rock James. Haro is my grandson, fyi

I'd give ten stars if I could. We broke down just outside town and they fit us in with a diagnosis on no notice and went the extra mile to get us back on the road. Trustworthy owners working at fair prices. I live over a hundred miles away and I'd consider bringing my car back the next time it needs maintenance.

James is awesome. He helped us out when we were broke down while passing thru town and nobody had availability to get us in. I’m amazed at how above and beyond he went to get us back on the road. James earned a customer for life from me, and I don’t even live near Pocatello (SLC, UT). If you need a mechanic, give this guy your money!!

Great guys. New owner. Was told my truck needed thousands of dollars to fix. He found the problem and fixed it for under $200.

Just picked up my Diesel truck, James called me and told me that the problem reoccurred from the last fix they did and he covered it under warranty. He could have told me anything and I would have believed him. Honesty is getting harder and harder to find. They were quick with the repair and I'll be back!

Wish I could give these guys more than 5 stars. They take care of my wife’s Cadillac everytime it has some BS come up with is, and they fix it RIGHT, and do the right thing everytime. They could’ve easily charged me today and found a problem but instead I only ended up paying for the hour diagnostic the mechanic provided to find out that there wasn’t an issue at least not one like we thought at the beginning (crank shaft sensor). I would recommend these guys to anyone I know who doesn’t know much about cars like myself any day of the week, Daniel I can’t say thank you enough for the flawless service you provide me and my family, as well as James being an honest mechanic which is rare to come by now days

My truck had to be towed in, and they estimated that they were going to be able to service it next day. Well, they were able to take a look that night, and even though they estimated that it would take a couple days for the part they had it back to me the next morning! I'm super glad for their help and definitely plan to bring my truck back if it ever needs serviced again!

about 400.00 cheaper than Corey's auto repair and they dont treat u like a dummy. like Corey will talk n talk what a diagnostic is and blah blah to try an tack on higher price. all I needed was a new alternator put in and accu tech did great price and was very fast.
did another quick fix and still this business was fast and fair. honest business

i usually never write reviews about places but today i went in for a serpentine belt fix on my pontiac which they said would take an hour or so because it was an “easy fix” so i took it in at 8 IN THE MORNING, and got no service done for 9 hours. i was told that none of the staff showed up but one so it was the boss and one staff, WHICH I CAN UNDERSTAND, and they said they could squeeze me in but for them to tell me that the serpentine belt wasn’t cracked at all and that no work got done for 9 whole hours is what led me to write this review. sure they offered me a discount for next time i come in (i won’t be) but never in my life have i been so pissed off. i called 10 minutes before they closed asking if anything got done and i was greeted with, “what exactly did u bring your car in for ?”. as much as it was probably miscommunication i wouldn’t recommend even for the littlest things

$1200 bill got car an check suspension came on 4 mins after leaving . They replaced half of what I needed an then said " well we thought you had a budget an wanted to keep it" no my budget was that I only have 1 vehicle an need it asap not 4 weeks away. Needless to say I'm paying another 1100to do something they should have done while it was pulled apart. Danny really tried but I'm still without a vehicle 6 weeks later.$1208.58 to acutech an another 1100 to do it all over. They tried, I went with them because they said they could do it in a week well ordered the wrong part 2xs an ,4 weeks later I'm going with someone else that originally said it would take 2 weeks. Had they said it would take 2 weeks I would have went with original quote that was 250 cheaper an most likly would not coste a grand more.

I will NEVER recommend this place to anybody. They let our car sit for two weeks without even looking at it, and my husband because of lack of communication had to go into the establishment three separate times to find out what was going on. He ended up spending over $300 for a part and now we have to hopefully take our car somewhere else to get it fixed.

Accutech used to be my go-to mechanic shop. Jason was always excellent to work with. I had many jobs completed at this company, and was satisfied. Unfortunately, I will never take my vehicle back to this company.After their most recent work, my bumper was hanging on by just 3 clips and nearly falling off. I know these clips break, so it wasn't a big deal. I replaced them and resecured the bumper. However, they replaced my AC compressor, and by doing so, the technician over-torqued the bolts when installing the part, breaking the bracket. My AC compressor then came loose, resulting in the serpentine belt falling off. I had Honda inspect the vehicle because Accutech was closed and my vehicle had to be towed. Honda informed me that the only way this bracket would break is over-torque from their technician. Upon further research and gathering opinions from other mechanics, I found this information to be accurate, so I contacted Accutech to see if they're willing to assist with the $600+ repair that should have never happened.Accutech was unwilling to work with me regarding this situation because the mistake was identified by Honda, despite the issue being caused by their technician that over torqued the bolt. After having them be my dedicated mechanic shop for years, they're unwilling to accept responsibility.I'd recommend reconsidering if you take your vehicle to this company.Service: General repairs & maintenance
