Had a very mixed experience Saturday at Blades. Went in with my partner who also has longer hair to have both ours done at the same time. I was with Kendra who did a phenomenal job. Partner was with Hannah, who was very late. My partner just wanted length off but still needed to be able to put it up in a ponytail, so wanted it left shoulder length. The cut ended up around the chin, easily 2-3 inches higher, more of a bob and impossible to put up. And then we were charged $50 each. Mine, a great cut with lots of layers, texturizing, the whole 9 and absolutely worth the money, and my partners, which was essentially a straight across cut and 2-3 inches shorter than requested. Blades has historically been a great salon, but this was not a great experience and I don't know that we'll be coming back.

Sam is incredible. I was really nervous after not having gotten my long hair cut or colored in years. She looked at my reference pictures and basically did everything exactly as the pictures looked. I never felt like she was in a rush and she was very sweet. I am incredibly happy to have found a permanent stylist. ❤️

Caitlin S. Is amazing! I have never returned to a hairdresser before but I went back and will continue to go back! Both times my hair was cut EXACTLY how I wanted it! I've never had this before... honestly some haircuts had left me anxious about getting a haircut 😅 Caitlin was so patient and sweet with my anxieties and with my skin sensitivities. Such a great experience! I highly recommend! Thank you 🥰

Was worried about coming in for a haircut after not having one for a minute, Amy with Red Moon Beauty did a wonderful job! She made sure my hair was even and exactly how I wanted. Definitely would recommend her to anyone!

Best Experience! My acrylic nails look good 3 weeks after!!! Not one nail peeled or came off. The grow out looks great. We had a ladies day here: mani/pedi. I will drive from SLC again

Forgive me for not remember her name, but the stylist with long blond hair just recently did my fiancé's hair, and she did phenomenal!! She was really nice and open to feedback and what to touch up. He asked for a taper fade and she did it exactly how you imagined and for cheap price (given, almost all of his length was cut off + the wash) Will definitely go back! <33

I got my hair done on the 10th and my god it is the best hair cut and color I've ever had done. I wanted platinum blond with purple tips, only the tips. Sam saw me in at 10 and stayed about 30 minutes after close to get my hair perfect for me. I showed her the reference picture to what i wanted and she achieved that to absolute perfection. Not once did she rush any part of the process and it look just absolutely amazing. She gave me great advice about how to care for platinum hair, seeing as I've never gone this blond before without color. I totally recommend seeing Sam if you want colored hair. She will stick to it until the styling is perfect. (Plus she made a cute little video of the transformation process)

Great salon. Janette is great to work with. Has been styling hair for a long time and keeps up with the styles and techniques. Was able to squeeze me in for a quick cut and style. Highly recommend for men and women. I do recommend the IUVENI treatment for sure. Your hair will feel so good afterwards.

To the Blade salon staff: Go back to school as you and your staff are clearly incompetent. Poor customer service. Stay away from that place as the owner will bark to the bone and won’t fix anything but will make some nasty comments on your parenting or leave you some nasty voicemails.
